I am from Texas and on a business trip here in Castle Rock. I have to say that this was one of the worse places I have eaten at in many years. Not sure it is really Mexican food. First off, the salsa was HORRIBLE. it had a taste of something I could not recognize and very hard to describe. I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga and I have to say it was a nothing but chicken rolled up in a small tortilla and deep fried. The only thing they got right on the whole meal was deep frying the burrito. There was no beans, no rice, not peppers and no onions in the Chimichanga. The rice that was on the plate was not Mexican rice it was rice with a little orange food coloring I think. The beans were O.K. but I have had much better. The menu reminded me of a Chinese Restaurant with all of the choices which is very undesirable. There is only so much that a restaurant can do and they are trying to over do it. This is not the only Mexican restaurant I have visited in Denver and I will say that all of them have been horrible and if they were in Texas, they would only stay open for about 1 week. Denver is not a place for real Mexican food.

I should have left and went to taco Bell, I am not sure who is writing these reviews but they must be drunk. I have worked in restaurants 26 years and have a lot of patience but I will not be returning to see a dirty q-tip on the floor or to catch attitude from our server because we were told to seat our selfs, o and we needed menus. Food sucked, tex Mex nothing Guadalajara about it I would have liked to try something else but never saw or server after she dropped off our ummm dare I say dinners One entree had chicken one entree had chorizo I think, cheese is all we saw. And I love cheese but this was nasty. Herd the staff talking trash in Spanish about guests that had just been seated. Sad

The food was ok, which brought up my review score. Otherwise, it was an awful experience. My MIL likes this place, so when she came to visit we took her out. (8 of us total). We waited for 1.5 hrs to be seated (we were told 20min). When we finally got seated, the manager said it was our fault for coming in when they were busy, and raised his voice at my FIL. The most pleasant person was a little Mexican lady. I think she was a cleaner, but she was the one serving us. We only saw our "waiter" once. I made sure to hand her a cash tip because she deserved the tip and I didnt want the waiter to get it.

I think the Guy from Texas should go back to Texas! The food was GREAT! The staff was happy and helpful. They anticipated our every need, even though the place was packed. My husband and I shared the fajitas, we both ate to our hearts content and had some to take home. It was full of meat not just vegetables. Bathroom needed a little attention but that is to be expected with the amount of people there. Will definitely go back if ever in the area.

5/7/17 Just left there with my take out.. wow 1) from my order being placed to my food being packed and handed to me less then 5 mins... 2) my hotel is 50 yards away, I get in my room unpack and take a bite food is not hot its barely warm... 3) my Macho burrito is a thin layer of meat rice and beans wrapped several times in a over sized tortilla.... needless to say I will not be returning... waste of $25

This is hands down THE BEST Mexican food in all the land!!!!!!! Mexican is my favorite, so I am very picky about what is actually good. This place is off the charts!!!! The spicy jalepeno marg, the enchiladas, the salsa and the macho burrito are my husband and my favorites!!!! Great prices and great happy hour too! at 5:30 on a weeknight this place is packed, which means its good!!!!

Fantastic service as soon as my husband and I sat down we received chips and salsa immediately. The server was very accommodating and check on us several times during duration if our meal with a friendly smile. Great selection for vegetarians which I appreciated. 5 out of 5 for my husband and I. Will definitely be dining again.

Excellent, excellent, did I mention excellent food!!! I have lived in New Mexico for 45-years. Ive eaten Mexican food most every day of my life. This place is on the top of a 45-year long list of eating establishments. Make reservations. Theyre popular with a bit of a waiting list for walk-ins. Worth the wait!!!

The chile relleno, rice, and beans were very good and authentic, which makes it all the more perplexing why they put BLACK PEPPER in both the salsa and the guacamole--to make Mexican food spicy, you add jalapeno or other fresh pepper, thats just basic! Also, the chips tasted like they had been cooked in old oil.

We really tried to like this family restaurant but the service was just alright, our food was good but not great, and we even got over charged for our meal on our credit card. We got a refund on our card after I called so there is redemption but I believe there are better food options in castle rock.

I ordered the beef enchiladas... they used the same beef that came in the taco with the taco seasoning... that paired with the cheddar cheese on top made it a soggy sodium filled mess. I do not recommend this restaurant not even for the price. $20 for a meal that I cant even stomach...

Frequent diner, always pleased. HUGE menu. So much variety. Every dish is awesome. I regularly order something new. Super friendly staff, quick service. The Camarones Portugese is my favorite (OMG bacon wrapped stuffed shrimp). Best Mexican in Castle Rock.

One of the better restaurants serving Mexican cuisine that you will find in the local area. Staff is personable and atmosphere is usually festive. One of the favorites for local residents. Try the Whiskey Margarita for a different taste. (Thanks Yolanda!)

I have eaten here several times while returning from Denver and the food is constantly good and well presented. It is usually busy but reasonable wait times. Wait staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the food. Access is a challenge so be careful.

Horrible. We were instantly turned off when we opened our menus. The biggest smell of mildew came from the menus. The table was not the cleanest. Wifes order came out wrong. Food was sub par at best, even on the cold side. Not good. Will NOT be back.

Fast service, no frills, massive portion sizes for the price. Absolutely hit the spot when I was craving Mexican after a long hike, especially because the food came out so quickly. The free chips and salsa has a kick to it but is really tasty!

Went there after the CU vs CSU. Rocky Mountain showdown. They one of the only restaurants open in casket rock and it was excellent. Although we got there late they treated us very well and our food was served promptly. Two thumbs up!
