EPIC FAIL!!! SERVICE, FOOD, MANNERS!! SO BAD!! I grew up in Denver where the Mexican restaurants have to be great or they fail. This restaurant WOULD NOT MAKE IT. I walked in and was seated. The waitress sat me then forgot about me, even though there were only two other people in the place. She found her way back to me, dropped chips and a bland salsa left me there for another 10 minutes. She came back and asked if I wanted anything to drink and I asked if I could order as well, knowing she wouldnt be back for some time. (huevos rancheros, over easy eggs) When she brought my food the green chili was literally boiling!! I asked if the eggs had been microwaved and she said no. I went to grab my tortillas and my arm hit the plate and I let out a YELP!! IT WAS EXTREMELY HOT!!! the beans had microwave burns and the eggs were microwaved rocks! I waited for the waitress, but she never returned. I walked up front to meet the owner who asked if there was a problem. I told him about my microwave burnt beans (Ive used a microwave enough to know the look of microwave burns) He immediately yelled "we dont use a microwave!!" To which I told him to take a look at the plate, beans and eggs that were hard as rocks. He told me to leave and never return!! I just stood there with my jaw dropped!! BAD, BAD, BAD!!!

If you want terrible food and terrible service go to El Meson. Not one smile or good food, you dont even get one welcome or thanks you for coming in this restaurant . Food was terrible and unpleasing. Also, you should never give a kids plate hot it should be cold, with the fact that the plate was hot the food was cold.This so what called "restaurant" is unsanitary... there were spider webs dangling off the decor. If you are going to have a restaurant and expect people to go then train your employees better and teach them to smile and not be rude.

My wife and I were grudgingly seated as if we were an inconvenience, there was only 1 other couple in the restaurant but it still took 10 minutes for them to ask for our drink order, along with another 10 to take our order. The owner/manager was very rude when we tried to use a coupon and after some debate agreed that the drink we had purchased was valid under the coupon. The carne asada was mediocre and cold when it arrived. We left a 20% tip to which the manager looked at and laughed and rolled his eyes. We will not be going back.

Well i think theyre food and service are pretty good, Ive came here twice so far and both times theyve just slightly messed up my order. The first time I asked for no tomatoes and I got tomatoes and the last time I asked for a chicken burrito and got a beef. Neither of those bothered me to the point of being mad or anything it just kind of disappointing. Overall I still think its a pretty good restaurant though.

Some of the worst "Mexican food" I have ever eaten. The tortilla chips tasted like they were fried in rancid oil. The refried beans tasted like they were from a can. The rice was dry and rubbery. The ground beef in my burrito was extremely salty and swimming in grease. And the lettuce was brown. I would have preferred to have eaten at Taco Bell.

The bad service and rude staff (especially the owner!) cloud any judgment of the food. In this economy, I cant see wasting my hard earned money to be treated rudely. I say about 5 out of 6 of my visits there were awful! I gave up, wont go back again. Too many other nice people in other Mexican restaurants to give my money to El Meson.

The carne asada burritos are awsome. We grew up in southern California and miss this style of Mexican food. The guy behind the counter let us try a sample of their tamales, and those were very good too. If you like your Mexican food spicy, then this place is for you, too.

The food was delicious, nothing tasted like canned food, my order was chicken mole with rice and lettuce, it was really good and the chicken was perfectly cooked and the mole sauce was sooo good! Hands down absolutely delicious, plus customer service was excellent!

Will not be back. Food was very average. No refills on chips or drinks the entire time. I had to go find someone to ask for a check. I would expect better service considering we were the only people in the restaurant, now I know why it was empty.

Worst rude service on mothers day,making up my mind then started to order another customer walks in he helps them instead of us,food very bland,bacon burrito isnt bacon it ham hock,no salt to even put on food,never eat here rude and nasty.

I was recommended to this restaurant and it has the best tasting, original Mexican food.. ,!!! Ask for their Mole,, omg, the best ever!!! Definitely a place to dine with a mellow ambiance. Im going back every month :)
