After being promptly seated, my boyfriend and I of 21 months were given salsa and chips which is customary for Mexican Cuisine. Our chips were crumbs, like those that you find in the bottom of your own bag at home. We were not impressed. The salsa was great for someone who enjoys extremely spicy foods. I enjoy spice, my boyfriend enjoys a bit more. But this was a level of hot that he could not even handle. Thursday is $2.00 margarita night. I ordered a water with lemon along with a frozen margarita. My boyfriend ordered a water with lemon and a margarita on the rocks. Our waiter brought us water without lemon. Our margaritas were decent but I would never have paid full price for them, I am glad we had them on Thursday. We split the shrimp tacos. The menu has an array of choices with great descriptions. Our food arrived look-warm. We were given two tacos with a side of rice and re-fried beans. We were not asked what type of bean we fancy. The amount of food was small. The flour tacos were not full size, the rice was dry and there were 3 full bites of beans. We were also not impressed by the "grilled shrimp". The shrimp in our tacos were boiled or heated in some way that was NOT grilled. There was pico and cabbage on top. The cabbage was old and dried out. We will not be eating at Paliminos ever again.

My wife and I who live in Greeley like to have lunches at Palomino. We have noticed the food quality rapidly declining. The menus were dirty, ripped and drawn on. I ordered 2 Chili Rellenos crispy. Amazingly there was only a chili strip the thickness of my pinky finger. I talked to the manager about it who was very kind and understanding. He stated that he is aware of the problem and that it really depends on who is making them that day. So what he said was the food quality was hit or miss. He was real nice about the problem and DID take the food off the bill. The question is, how do we know which day the quality will be good or not. Not worth the effort anymore. Sorry Palominos, too many options in the Greeley/Loveland area to take a chance on "whos making the food" that day.

Food was pretty good except I ordered the burrito with the enchilada inside and the cheddar was refrigerator cold. The salsa was amazing. Waitress took her time at everything. Heres the thing, the place was almost dead so there was really no reason. We sat in the bar around 3p and almost everyone there were belly up to the bar. There was really no reason for any delay. She finally brought the check then disappeared. After she didnt return for ten minutes we had to leave for work. I ended up leaving a much smaller tip than I had planned because after paying the bill, I had a $5 and a $20. My bill was $49, I was going to leave $10 but she never returned to give me change so she got a $6 tip instead of the $10.

Im sorry but this is NOT made from scratch Mexican food! The salsa tasted as if they used canned Italian style tomatoes and the queso tasted like old Velveeta. It was gritty!!! I really expected more especially for the price. The service left something to be desired also. Was seated and waited 10 minutes for someone to finally take our drink order then waited another hour for our food as we watched the staff socialize at the back of the restaurant then when we asked for the check we had to wait another 15 minutes then another 20 for our card to be picked up. They were not busy at all! I was so ready to leave! I will never go back to this place!

Im pretty sure this review thing isnt fair. All the people that want to complain come here and do it.... that being said, my husband and i frequent this place and have never had an issue. Always a friendly staff and great food. The Chipotle cream enchaladas are out of this world good! BTW to the person who is complaing about the chips.... Really? arent chips supposed to be salty? im assuming you are one of those that has to find something to complain about wherever you go. sad really

Amazing food, even more amazing drinks, and the best service in Greeley! Every time I come to Palominos, which is pretty frequently, I am blown away by the flavor combinations and by the wait staff. Trevor Aleman is always our first choice in wait staff. He is welcoming, friendly, and attentive to our every need. Even better, he ANTICIPATES our needs so that we are never left waiting or wanting. Thank you for such a great lunch and dinner experience!

My burrito had steak in it that was cold. When the waitress brought my food out she had a pot holder acting as though it was hot....I grab the edge of my plate and its even cold. The salsa was nasty. Tasted like Pizza sauce. No spice at all. I ordered a Tecate and the bartender was like...Ill have to see if we have that....it comes out room temperature. I ordered another beer, budweiser. ....its hot as well. I wont be going back!

I went yesterday and I had to wait to get my togos for a long time. I actually called the restaurant while I was at the restaurant to get someone to notice me! Also the togo worker didnt even ask if I wanted change she just took the rest! It wasnt a big deal to me because it was only a couple of cents but that movement was so disrespectful that I decided I wouldnt give her actual tip which was going to be $10. Her loss.

My girlfriends & I went to Palominos on a suggestion from my family. These guys have true Mexican cusine. It not only tastes like my moms home cooking, but it also has that amazing aroma of home cooking. I will be a regular here and will tell all my other friends. their chicken chimichanga is to die for.......... We also had good service, but I wish they had better margarits. Sandy

Lunch Buffet is weak.. Got here at 12:45 and items were not greasy and almost out, Basic ground beef, beans, chili..Only small tortilla and crispy tack and toastda shells. No enchilada or veried and the buffet is 12.00. Yes all you can eat but still not impressed NO Sopa of any kind.. I ordered off menu and it was stellar as always, Mom got buffet and was not impressed

This Mexican restaurant was the worst I have ever had. My family was so disappointed. The chile rellenos had no chile! The queso dip was like glue. It came to the table with a film over the cheese. It was gross. The service was not any better. I cannot rate this restaurant as it does not deserve 1 star. My family and I will never eat there again.

We used to come here weekly and loved it. We suddenly noticed the quality decrease and the drinks become weaker. Weekly visits turned into monthly. The margaritas changed color from gold to mountain dew yellow. We were just apologized to where our drinks were slow because our server couldnt find the bartender. This is our last visit to Palomino.
