We ordered take out from here. The restaurant is immaculately clean. I didnt know they also had Thai and Vietnamese items on the menu! The sesame chicken is delicious, all white meat and its still crispy even in the sauce. You get a choice of white or brown rice. General Tsos tastes like its supposed to, not some soy sauce and cornstarch generic slop but that spicy sweet combination its supposed to be. The egg rolls are crispy and actually have visible veggies in them. Im not sure why this place doesnt have higher reviews. Weve been ordering from Tasty House based off reviews and I thought if that was the highest rated in CR, we were just destined to have crappy Chinese choices while living here but this place blows Tasty House away. I love that theres Thai and Vietnamese options for next time! So far, best Chinese in CR in my experience.

Stopped in today at 12:15 pm for lunch.I was the ONLY customer. The cooks were eating at one table and the manager/owner & family were at a different table.I was craving beef chow mein, but didnt see it on the lunch menu specials. The waiter was polite & said I could probably get it anyway. He walked up to the cooks table & the cook said "no,only available as a dinner entree".I stood up as I could hear them, and told him " that was bad for business"!!Out walked the ONLY paying customer, foolish!!!How hard is it to mix beef & bean sprouts?? Never to return, gooooood lucckkkkk!

Drove from Aurora to meet a friend there in Castle Rock for lunch a couple months ago. She commented they had remodeled and it was really nice. Service was very friendly and quick and the food... delicious! I had their delicious Kung Pao combination (chicken, shrimp and beef), hot and sour soup, and Jasmine tea. I particularly loved their fried rice, so much I flavor! And hard to believe their prices are as good as their food! I am excited to be going back tomorrow to meet that friend again, and will be taking home an extra side of the fried rice for later!

Dont usually write reviews, especially negative ones like this, but for this experience it was needed. Ordered delivery, was quoted 45 minutes and it took an hour and 20 minutes. Food including egg drop was cold. Egg rolls were under cooked and bland, soup was just as bad, and the sesame was dry and the sauce was thinner then the soup. For those reviews that state it was good or best in Castle Rock, it must be the only Chinese they have had in town. Maybe I ordered the wrong things, good luck if you try this place, but i obviously dont recommend.

$2 extra steamed rice trumps return visits. I have enjoyed the food here, though paying $4 more for a dinner entree that doesnt include the soup and egg roll that come with lunch (even though the entree is slightly bigger....um, thus the need for MORE RICE) isnt worth the money or experience. If this establishment feels my need for extra rice to compliment my larger take-home portion of the main dish is seriously cutting into their bottom-line, then I will have to go ahead and not give them repeat business with my money.

We ordered chicken lomein, beef chowmein (they gave us chicken instead), cream cheese wontons, and sesame chicken. We spent nearly $40 and didnt feel we got our moneys worth. The portions were fine but the quality was subpar. Food was bland and the dishes that were supposed to be spicy were not. We will not be ordering from here again.

Had combo kung pao and fried dumplings for takeout. The dumplings needed more spices and could have been crispier. The kung pao was really good. It was very savoury and not sweet compared to most versions at other places. Would definitely go back to try other dishes. The staff was attentive and fast.

This was a five star experience at a sweet little locally owned and operated restaurant. The food was amazing and our waiter was fantastic and very kind. We will definitely be coming back again. Everything came out warm and delicious and my husband and I enjoyed everything we ate!

Not many choices in CR - but this one works for us. Take out only but so far... its always been really good food. Hot, good portions, helpful. Take a chance as there is some bad Chinese out there and we have tried this place often with good luck (all puns intented)

I have been going to the China Cafe ever since they opened years ago and I cannot say that Ive ever had a complaint. From cleanliness to fast service and wonderful food....I love it! Their delivery is great too. The food is delivered in a timely manner and always hot.

Worst Chinese in Castle Rock, Bland tasteless food. Large portions dont make up for poor taste. Wife ordered here by accident after I said to go to the King Soopers Chinese restaurant. Had the food here twice now and will never go back.

I had the misfortune of eating lunch in this Cafe. The service was terrible, the tables were not clean, and the steamed dumblings were discusting. PLEASE. get some pride in ownership. Did I mention the grooming of the waitstaff? Ridiclous!

This place was recommended by a friend and the delivery late. Ordered sesame chicken, the chicken was coated in tempura batter and hard as a rock, the sause tasted like kerosene. I will not be ordering from here again.

The food tasted decent enough at the time of consumption but we ended up getting food poisoning from it (yes, we definitively know it was this restaurant). Needless to say, we wont be returning customers.

Theres not a lot of eating options in the south end of Castle Rock, but this one is a good one. Food is always good, prices are good, service is good, great owners, what more can you ask for?

The food was disgusting. I ordered chicken lo mein and the chicken was chewy, it had the wrong sauce and noodles.
