Tried this a year ago, food subpar, and monotone bland service. Family did not finish their meals. Tried it again a year later, 8/28/2016. Even worse than we remembered. Only about 8 people inside. Heavily staffed, but mostly kids milling in front of the food counter, with their hands in their pockets. Wifes quiche burned on top. Banana bread dry, no flavor. Fried potatoes looked horrible, mushy, and greasy, just nasty. Eggs half cooked and whites runny. Ham, super salty and also super soft, almost mushy as well. Really strange. The worst part though, is the service. Again, no smiles, no welcome, no conversation. Short, abrupt, almost rude, disconnected service. Middle-aged woman and rest of staff. Put un-eaten food near edge of table to be picked up. Staff walked by repeatedly, looked at it, did not pick it up, or ask how everything was. Finally, the 2nd Owner (male), came by, and took them, but did not comment on the full plates of food left. The older woman dropped the tab off without stopping and said, "you can pay me when ready". , and kept wakirng. Wow, it was like NO-ONE wanted to be there!. Bad vibes, low energy atmosphere, no smiles. Just like last time. Will not be back. We are fun, interactive positive people, who like to engage. Not sure what is going on at this joint, but the atmosphere has to change, the service and attention, and the food has to improve significantly. If it doesnt look good, it probably isnt. While walking out, went by mgmt, they never said "Hope to see you again, have a nice day", nothing, they just kept chatting amongst themselves. We are also business owners, and would never, ever, treat our customers, friends, in this fashion. Remember, treat people, customers, etc, like friends, SMILE, ask how their day is and how their food is, "What can we do to improve". Though truthfully, I dont believe these are people that would acknowledge feedback, certainly negative feedback. Defensive I would imagine. Time will tell.

Very disappointed. Not in the food (its delicious), not in the atmosphere (its neat), but in the fact that we had a bad experience in the span of 3 minutes. When we walked in the B & B there was one couple waiting to be seated, and two women had walked in before us. Place was busy but it always is, nothing out of the ordinary. The two women before us were told the wait would be 30-35 minutes. They did not stay. We were next and told 40-45 minutes. Hmm, how did our wait become 10 minutes longer than the two woman who didnt stay? When we inquired we were dismissed and told "were busy we cant seat you until someone leaves so...."as she turned her back on and walked away from us. We eat out a lot so we understand having to wait. If not for being given a longer wait time than the two women whose place we now had, if the long wait had made any sense (since there was only one couple waiting to be seated before us), and if we hadnt been treated like we were bothering and annoying the hostess we would have stayed. So sad because we really love this place.

Some friends, visiting from out of town, and I decided to eat at the B & B Cafe. We werent aware we walked in 10 minutes before closing until everybody started to leave. We thought we would be asked to leave, but no, Steven, our server, was beyond wonderful. We ordered drinks and I have to say it was one of the best Bloody Marys Ive ever had!! Then there was the food!! Not only did Steven go over and beyond in getting my demanding friends what they asked for, but he even offered to order extra bread for them to take home. The food was so delicious and fresh. The chicken sandwiches were so yummy and the salad and burgers were very, very good! So to anyone that hasnt had the pleasure of enjoying the atmosphere, food and service here, youre missing out!!! Cant wait to go back!!! Thanks again, Steven!!! Youre the best!!

Well lets start off by the horrible customer service that we received. As a waitress approached my wife as we were sitting at the table eating she called my wife a little girl ... " !! Wow!!! I work seven days a week and I wanted to enjoy An amazing breakfast with my wife for 40 minutes prior to going to work !! We were literally leaving shortly because I had to leave to work.... before we could even leave the lady walked up to us and said can you guys hurry up this is financially hurting me by sitting here !!!! I have been coming to this place for years. Im astonished by their customer service and how they are disrespectful. one bad experience and It will lead me to never coming to this restaurant again ! There are amazing small breakfast places out there, this one I will never return to!!! Great hiring manager!

Lived in the area 30 years use to love this place.. Took my daughter here and ordered breakfast burritos, coffee, and orange juice and two waters .. We were not impressed with any of the changes the place has made and the food was barely edible, food was cold..looked like dog food, bacon was overcooked and rubberie not enough hot sauce could fix the lack of flavor. Got a stomache ache and was sick rest of the day. We did not finish our meal. We were seated at a table by the bathrooms in my opinion no resteraunt should ever have a table there or near the kitchen ever. Waiter was deceant. At least we got a" have a nice day on our way out. " Not sure what happened to this place but i will never eat here again. Miss the old B! Miss the old owners! Very dissapointed.

I went there for lunch on 8/23 with my 2 young children and a friend with her 3yr old. I overheard the owner and our waiter talking in the kitchen about our children. They said "We should hang a sign on our door stating NO KIDS ALLOWED" and "you should see table 11, there are 3 kids out there making a mess and running around". (The kids were very well behaved.) When I approached the owner and asked him if he had a problem with my kids he coldly said "not yet". He said something to the effect that how dare we enter his restaurant at lunchtime with our children. I was appalled, hurt and shocked and have never been treated so poorly.

Tiffany, Maeve, Dawnelle, Christy & others make this one of those infamous "down-home" kinds of hangouts. We eat there regularly, have only had one disappointing experience & the "surly guy" (owners son) has moved onto their new location in Kiowa (Patties Place, I think.) The blueberry pancakes are to die for & my hubs loves the coffee & breakfast burritos. I had a really good salad there for lunch once, too. Its hard to decide which we like best - the friendly, conscientious wait staff or the cinnamon buns! Read about its history & enjoy the wild & wooly "seat yourself" attitude that makes this cafe such a fun experience.

I am sitting at this restaurant right now. Food and atmosphere are great, but when I came in there were no tables and I was told to stand at the end of the bar/counter and wait. There was an empty seat so I sat at the end of the bar. I have arthritis... Standing hurts . I was then informed by two spotty waitresses id better stand where they told me to. I asked"cant I sit while I wait?" they snorting said" you stand here and form a line( there was no one else waiting) its first come first served and thats just how it is!)" nice... My knees hurt b&aches!
