Wife and I visited there a number of times. There are some good points. While the wanton soup is plentiful and with sufficient ingredients, but it is watery and without much flavor. Its like taking the things out of regular wanton soup and putting it in hot water. The steamed rice looks and tastes like minute rice - it has no substance or body and is often stale and drying out. I.e., it is not sticky at all and never clumps like it should. The fried rice appears to be very stock and unexceptional. Its not any different than you might get at an airport kiosk. I ordered the cashew chicken last time. It comes with diced veggies and diced chicken. While you cannot tell the difference, on close inspection, there was very little chicken included.... almost all veggies. I asked about this and got an argument from the waitress. I pointed out how, in order for the dish to be as advertised and even respectable at all, it had to have a sufficient quantity of actual chicken in it. The waitress complained that if they were to increase the chicken then they couldnt make a profit. While I dont want to argue about such things over dinner, I agreed to pay an extra few dollars if they would simply add more chicken. The version redone was not even up to par for the first price, let alone the extra I paid. While their Mongolian Beef is the best tasting Ive ever had, they continue to have a problem with sufficient quantities of meet in every dish. I dont want just flavor in a vacuum or smells or other niceties. I want a meal - and this place just doesnt cut it. Nothing special here.

Im very conflicted about this place, but I always go back. The food is always good. Ive never had a bad taste experience. I love the assorted vegetables dish, the hot and sour soup, and the signature hurricane. There are strange rules about takeout VS dine-in. For example you cant get soup with your lunch special if you order takeout, but it comes with soup when you dine-in. The service is hot or miss. Some of the waitresses are very nice, some are quiet but not abrasive, and some are very rude. The management, however, are almost universally rude. My mom ordered takeout here recently and asked for a side of crunchy noodles. The owner happened to be the one who gave her the food and took her payment. When my mom checked for the side of noodles, they were missing, so she politely asked for some. I cant make sense of what happened next, but this somehow offended the owner, who took it to mean he had personally forgotten to put them in there. He then said that she never ordered them at all and ended up snatching the food away and telling her to leave. To this day I cant figure out what happened, and I think about it every time I eat here.

I ordered Kung Pao Shrimp and got what only could be described as General TSO Shrimp. There were no other vegetables. Just about 10 pieces of BREADED Shrimp. Thats it! Im not even sure how that qualifies as a meal. I would almost think they wrote down my order wrong if it wasnt for the fact that they repeated it back to me several times at the time I placed the order and at the time I picked up the order. What kind of Chinese restaurant doesnt know what Kung Pao sauce is?! Ive been to countless chinese restaurant in my life and Ive never had one not know what Kung Pao Shrimp is! My dinner companion was also very disappointed with her order. They rudely refused to customize her order and what she ended up was bland. The vegetables were canned, not fresh. Granted this place is pretty cheap, but do your self a favor and go somewhere else, spend a few more dollars and get decent food. I am not kidding when I say this is the worse Chinese food Ive ever had in my life. I can not fathom how people think this is good food or how this place is so highly rated.

I cant believe I havent reviewed here since I eat here almost weekly. The wonton soup is fan-freaking-tastic! Shrimp, chicken, beef, veggies and wontons all swimming together in a light flavorful pool.... Um YUM! They have great lunch combos. If you dine in you even get the salad but we usually grab takeout for lunch and I miss out. The combo hurricane is one of my favs. They have an out of this world egg foo young. The beef chow fun is pretty authentic. (Wish they didnt charge extra for chili sauce to go) Mushu chicken is really good here. Those are my go tos but everything Ive tried here has been really good. My neighbor swears by their lemon chicken. (Not sure why Ive never had it) Ive dined in a couple times and the staff is always friendly and the restaurant is clean. However they are my go to for lunch take out and the food is always ready fast, on time, and delicious

The food is kind of blah, average at best. It took the waitress 15 minutes to get to the table to take drink order, and after dinner it took her at least 15-20 minutes after eating to bring the check. The employees seemed angry and unhappy ( I saw one of the bussers slamming stuff around on the table). They dont seem to care much about customer satisfaction and it shows by how they treat you. They are very standoffish and will treat you like a jerk if you ask for anything special. The worst part is when I asked them to put sesame seeds on my chicken and broccoli they just said" NO!" I asked why not, they just said "because the kitchen wont do it." I asked them if I could get sesame seeds on the side and they said "no its a cooking ingredient." Wont ever go back, they are just way to unfriendly and not concerned enough about making the customer happy.

I have come here ever since I was a little girl. Literally my daycare was across the street so dad and I used to come here always. Im not sure if there is new management, but definitely new employees, I havent seen any aunties I remember from there. Food is still delicious and they have great lunch and dinner specials. We got the group dinner for two to go. The salad is yummy. Appetizers of egg roll and cheese wontons, and the hot mustard is the best. I love hot mustard. Orange chicken has little crystallized orange pieces and really delicious. I had the Kung Pao chicken as it is one of my favorites and it really hit the spot. If one container of rice isnt enough, order extra if you do the group dinner to go.

I found this restaurant on urban spoon and was surprised by how many people liked it. My boyfriend and I decided to try it out. We were not real familiar with Aurora so we drove around the block once and then found it. I was a little iffy because of the building but when we walked inside it was decorated nicely. Sat down and had service right away, and we ordered, the egg drop soup that I am not typically fond of was out in minutes and very tasty. I ordered the chicken and broccoli which was fantastic and my boyfriend had the sesame chicken which was very good as well. We will definitely be going back to try this place again. Our meal was also a fair price for the amount of food we got.
