I had some reservations about this place, but from the start it was pretty good. The decor was surprisingly nice. Warm wood beams and ample windows overlooking the river. It was unclear if we should seat ourselves or wait, so we sat down, which wasnt a great idea. None of the waiters came to our table for a good 5-7 minutes, but if were supposed to wait I cant blame them. Once we had menus and drinks the waiter was attentive. The breadsticks and marinara were good. The sauce wasnt too cloying and had a nice amount of acidity. My burger (Mt. Bailey) was good, if a bit plain. It came with a perhaps too large slab of cream cheese and a smattering of jalapenos. I like the usual fixings on a burger (lettuce, tomato, onion) in addition to the extras, but maybe thats just me. The menu stated it came with bacon and when questioned the waiter confirmed it didnt, before being corrected (by another waiter) that it did. She brought out a couple slices of bacon and took some off the bill, which was a nice gesture. Flavor-wise, I wasnt super impressed, but I get the feeling they specialize in Italian food. Their pizzas look good. Im glad to have more options up the hill so I look forward to trying them again!

The food is great! The ponytailed owner is the worst. Running is servers to the ground so their over worked. Horrible service from the owner bartender was amazing. Food was cold had to send back twice. I brought the issues to the owner and he threw the bill in my face in front of my 7 year old grabdson, my husband (who is servicing his country), my mother (first time vistor), and my daughter (first time vistor). He acted like child, my grandson has never acted like this 50 year old man. We are locals and we will never come back and we advise no one to go here!

The location is excellent but the parking is kind of a mess. I was excited to see a new restaurant opening in Bailey. We ordered pizzas and they were both very good. The balcony outside is pretty nice, although I didnt really like looking at the river through the bars. Not a big deal though. The biggest issue with this place was service. Everyone was very friendly it was just horribly disorganized. Im hoping its just some kinks that need to get worked out. Ill be going back at some point and hopefully things are worked out by then.

I have gone to Riverbend several times, and agree that the food is very good. However, they have very poor customer service. Stopped by last Wednesday evening about 7:00 PM. There were a half-dozen empty tables, but we couldnt be seated because the wait staff had to approve it. When asked how long the wait would be, we were told they couldnt say but it could be quite a while. We left. They need to hire more staff or change their practice. Not sure I will ever go back.

We had the WORST experience here today. The plan was dead, tables inside and outside available but they refused to seat us because the kitchen was backed up. They told us we could get a drink at the bar. We told them that they could just sit us on the deck and we would go to the bar for our drinks since we had the baby with us but they still would not seat us. Had to support your local town restraints with that kind of treatment!

We went there for lunch today, have never been. Seated by the window overlooking the river and it was beautiful. Would have opted for the patio seating, but it was pretty windy today. The food was amazing and our service was fantastic! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone living in Bailey or the surrounding area, or anyone traveling down Hwy285. We will definitely return.

I agree that its good to have another eatery and I am often impressed by the food quality. I wish it were a bit more consistent, though. Todays lunch was atrocious (waited 40 minutes for burgers which came out tasteless). I chalk it up to growing pains that will hopefully settle with time. Ive eaten here 5 times and 3 of those were very, very good.

Stopped yesterday on a fall leaf tour. What a great spot to stop for lunch or dinner. The river flowing, trees turning colors and great food for the price. There are a lot of classic Italian dishes done well and the burgers rock. Did I mention the beer selection...We will be back for sure. B&D

I love how this place is set up. The wall along the back is all windows with beautiful views of a river and mountain scene. The service was great and the buffalo burger that I got was delicious but perhaps a little dry. Highly recommended!

We were amazed at how good the pizza was. The best since we enjoyed the same in Rome. It is truly authentic Italian. We would have never guessed we would find it here. We will be back.

One of the best lunches Ive ever had! the Stuffed Shells were great! Service was good and the atmosphere was incredible, overlooking the river. This will become a normal stop for me.

Solidly good food, though it was a tad under-seasoned. The lemon basil vinaigrette is great. The sell pints of it in the adjacent store for about $7. Delicious.

Decent food, but the service is appalling. Plenty of empty tables, but it took over 20 minutes to seat a party of 2. The petite Buffalo Steak was exceptional.

Great view of creek from most of the tables - long axis of restaurant follows creek. Generous, incredibly tasty Italian food. Good vegetarian options.
