Not the original Hill Top, The original knew what they were doing. The new managment/ownership does not have a clue, service is slow, I think the wait staff is out back getting stoned instead of doing their job! Menu is down hill from the Hill Top of the past. The New owners tried to take an Irish Pub that a lot of the local miilitary,whom frequented quite often, to a TAP HOUSE... Missed the boat on that one. The original Hill Top on a Friday night you had to get Lucky or wait to get a table....NOW you can just walk in any time and be guarnteed a table.. What doesThat tell ya bout the hill.....it has gone down Hill! Hell thier web site is not even operational.

Me and my husband went in there for dinner recently. We sat at the bar and were served by the bartender. The bartenders attitude was as if we had ruined her night because she had to wait on us. I have never had a bartender be so rude and disrespectful to me before. When my food had arrived my salad was missing the salad dressing and I brought it to the bartenders attention. She actually rolled her eyes as she turned around to go to the kitchen only to return with a very small side of ranch nowhere near big enough to even partially dress my salad. If youre into extremely bad, unfriendly service and overpriced food and drinks you will love this place!

The food was great, the selection of beer was fine but the waitress we had was rude. I dont feel welcomed when you have your back turned to me and look over your shoulder to tell me to seat myself. Finally, when they were done talking about their good deals on tickets to some gig, she came and dully asked us what we wanted. It continued from there... What really got me was that she added a 5 dollar charge to our bill that was not on our receipt at all. When we confronted her about it, she said it will take 2 days to figure out what happened. Needless to say, dishonesty from the staff and rudeness does not compel me to come back.

Tried this the other night because its right around the corner from where we live. Was very impressed! The Upslope beer was my favorite, but all of the beers were delicious. However, it was the appetizers that really made an impression on me. The fried mushrooms were huge and perfectly battered, and the pretzel bites were amazing. Our table had 3 orders! Up until trying Royal Hilltop I thought we had to go to downtown Denver to have anything this good. Im really excited we have a taproom like this so close to home!

Its too bad that the staff is so bad because the food is amazing and the beer selection doesnt suck. I just watched a cute older couple wait 20 min to get a drink because the girl behind the bar kept forgetting. They were sitting right in front of her. This isnt the only time the service has been terrible... More than once theyve acted like the customers are an inconvenience. The only reason we came in today was because we thought it wouldnt be so bad during the day and I knew theyd have corned beef.

The bartending staff was SUPER cool and they were very personable. The restaurant is close to the movie theater and it gets pretty busy around movie time. The service for my food was kind of slow, but the bartender was extremely apologetic. Would I go back, YES! Even better, I have a 2-for-1 coupon that I will be using next time. Tip: The place isnt that big, this can be an advantage or disadvantage, but dont hold it against them :-)

This used to be a great Irish pub, it is now a hipster bar with extremely watered down drinks. The food is still ok but the service is horrible. Instead of asking if she could get me anything else the waitress said "oh your food came out? I didnt see it leave the kitchen". Its a shame this place turned out this way, it used to be one of my favorite places to get a Philly cheese steak.

The bartender is very nice and relaxed. Always has a good joke. It has a myriad of beer and liqour choices. I really recommend the Bloody Mary. The bartender makes those excellently. Most of the customers there are even friendly. Food is delicious but a little pricey. All together it is well worth it for how close I live.

If I could give 10 stars I would, Matt your the bomb! I havent had a great tasting burger in a very long time, you nailed it 10 times over. Usually only come here every few months are so, defiantly will be back sooner. Maybe our next date night. The Not your Dads root beer will get me trouble but hey you only live once.

Stephanie..the bartender..is phenomenal. I wasnt a beer conisour so i wasnt up to speed on all the different types of beers..but she was very knowledgeable and took the time to help me find the right beer for me. Try the muscles! Just a great local neighborhood pub with great people beer and cood.

Good food but the best fries around, great beer selection, good service but you need to be a little more assertive. That is to say, dont be shy. If you want something ask for it. They dont really have the staff of a chain place to wait hand and foot, so say something. They wont be offended.

When the bar first opened it was an English pub style and we loved it. But now they took everything off the walls and all of our military patches off the walls that we feel we have been stabbed in the back. The original pub was better hands down but now I dont want to go there ever again.

The service is always slow. The selection for beer was not the greatest compared to some of the other bars in town. The food is not the best either. I have been here several times and always been disappointed in the service and drinks.

Top notch rotating beer selection. Great food. Personal favorites are the Fish and Chips, French Onion soup, and the Irish nachos ( not on the menu). I dare you to find a better meal with a chill atmosphere in this area of the city.

Excellent food overall. I would suggest the beer sausage. Dont get the prime rib French dip. The first time it was great, but the second time, it was full of fat and the meat was tough. Great environment though.

One of my families favorite spots for quick sit-down dinner. Consistently great food and drinks. Excellent burgers, sandwiches and mussels. Service can be slow on weekdays is theyre unexpectedly busy.

Better than average bar food, great beer selection, awesome staff and nice vibe. Sunday brunch ends kind of early at 12 otherwise great place to watch the game on Sundays!
