I have really liked the burgers they serve when Im wanting a blue burger, even looked past the subpar service quality because the food had made it up. Today I had a hankering for a burger and was in the area so I order one to go. It took the hosting ladies a while before they acknowledged my presence. When the woman apparently doing training on the other finally spoke to me she made me feel much less than welcome. I explained I was picking up, paid and went on my way, ignorantly not looking at my food before leaving. I had arrived within the 30 minutes they said it would take for the food to be ready, yet my food was barely warm at all, the food looked like it had been slapped into the box as if they were just a drive through, the fries were soggy, the burger was overdone, the cheese could only be tasted from one side of the burger, the bacon was barely on the sandwich and the bun was burnt on the bottom. If I werent so hungry by the time I was home I would have taken a picture of how unappetizing it looked, but I dug in anyway. Over $12 for a burger like this was unacceptable, I really had liked the food, they have let me down, if I want a quick burger thats still tasty and done right..Im going to have to go to five guys that opened up not too long ago, no blue burger there but they have service and quality still.

Ive been going to this Fox & Hound since it opened a few years ago and am one of the first members of their "All Star Brew Club". While the service has been inconsistent from one visit to the next, one shining spot has been the $2 pints on Tuesdays. They have a decent selection of beers and Ales, though I havent really been happy since they removed Hoegaarden from their taps in favor of Shock Top...a much cheaper, in taste and price, and not comparable wheat beer. I also feel they try to push their Company Ale...Red Fox. Unfortunately they continue to increasingly cater to the twenty something UFC, Hip Hop, Bikini Contest crowd and its become an increasingly uncomfortable place for "Adults" to gather for food and drink. The "Background" Music is always too loud to allow table conversation and the videos on the TV that go along with that music is more often than not HIGHLY inappropriate for most non collegiate patrons. While several of the staff members give very good service, that is beginning to take a back seat to all the other drawbacks. In HIGH contrast to a true English/Scottish/Irish Pub that is a gathering place for good drink, good food, good conversation and Craic, This Fox & Hound has become nothing more than just another pubescent sports bar.

We do countless Hail and Farwells at this location and there has never been a time weve gone that they dont get our check all wrong. We get told, and expect, one thing and end up with an entirely different. The food is standard pub type fare on a fancy plate. Its not bad by any stretch but there is nothing Id say is rave worthy. However at the end of the day it completely ruins what would otherwise maybe be a pleasant experience by the fact that we have to ask them to correct our bill EVERY time. Make sure you read your check when it comes because weve always been charged at least $10-20 more than we actually owed. And then they try to insist that we ordered things we never did. I will probably stop going to the Hail and Farwell events when the battalion hosts them and if I have any say, Ill highly recommend that they start hosting them elsewhere.

Really cool atmosphere. Seems like a great place to take a group of friends for a fun night. Pool tables and ping pong tables, with lots of room for large groups to sit. Like another review said, the service is laid back, but I think it adds to the casual atmosphere. The servers were all very nice and accommodating. The food was fairly priced for the quality. I got a bowl of tomatoe soup and a bacon grilled cheese sandwich. The combo was amazing. Chunky bisque-like soup, packed with herbs and spices. The grilled cheese was elevated with Real cheese and Real bread, not Kraft and Wonder bread. The beef tacos were good too, though they didnt seem very full. Looking forward to going back on Trivia Night.

I was in the restaurant business for 5 years until joining the Air Force. Never in my life have I received such bad service. I wish I could give this restaurant 0 stars. My group of 6 is seriously considering walking out. Firstly, we walked in and were not given any seating options. The hostess was rude and unhelpful. Follow that up with the waitress and the bartender not even acknowledging us. I was trying to get the bartenders attention so we could change one of the tvs to the game we were wanting to watch. She would not even LOOK at me when I said excuse me maam. I am still sitting here waiting for the return of the waitress. In that time I have written them a bad review.

20-Something year old manager told us the place was maxed out, but her employees knew what was going on more than she did. The people under her assured her there was space, and once we were seated and I asked her if I could see her manager. She said, "I am the manager" to which I replied, "you couldnt possibly manage yourself." Still havent seen her manager, and she still has girls that are supposed to be under her teaching her what to do..... so disorganized, poor management, bad service (takes about an hour to get each beer) Ive been to Fox and Hound in other states but the Colorado Springs location is absolutely horrible. A glorified Applebees.

We stopped by last Saturday night to get a bite to eat. We found a great parking spot and noticed the parking lot was not as full as usual. When we entered, the hostess notified us that unless we paid a cover charge of $5 each, we could not enter the restaurant. She stated they had PPV UFC in the restaurant and that was what the cover was for. We had no intention of watching the fights, we just wanted a bite to eat. We also noticed the restaurant was not that busy. I am very glad that the Fox and Hound is doing so good that they can turn away business. Due to this, we will never go back since we do not know when they may have PPV on.

I went there on my birthday. It was the second time I went there. The first time I went there was over a year ago and it was a great experience. This time it was horrible though. My chicken sandwich was dry and hard the fries were soggy. My boyfriend cheeseburger tasted like someone dropped a whole container of salt on it. The table they Sat us at was wobblie and there was a bunch of open tables and they Sat US right next to two full tables that were super loud. It was the worst birthday I have had. Also the wait staff was so bored they were all acting immature and goofing off very unprofessional.

This place has a good selection of draft beer and descent food. The only bad thing...their servers. All the girl servers are sooo slow. Half of the time they are flirting with another table full of guys while everyone else is waiting. Expect to wait a while at your table for someone to take your drink order when you first arrive. One of them actually snapped at me for ordering my beer from the bar and bringing it back to my table after waiting on her for over 30 mins to come get my order. Why do I still come here? ....the cheap beer on Tuesdays, but I have learned to sit at the bar.
