I had been once before and enjoyed the food. Some of the people in my party were unsatisfied with the wait times. The staff was slow to ask for our orders and check up on us. Even so, I liked the food so much that when my family came to visit, I recommended that we eat at Cerberus. My grandparents brought their dog to town so we planned on eating on the deck where they allow dogs. Upon arrival, the last of three tables was snagged and we were given a wait time of 30 minutes. Unfortunate, but we didnt make a reservation so we understood. Keep in mind - the inside was pretty empty. We were waiting for outdoor seating for the dog. After an hour+ had passed and the staff made no effort to update us or accommodate us (we were the only people waiting) I approached the hostess. She told me that 2/3 tables had already paid and were just sitting and talking. She got an attitude and said, "I cant just kick them out!" While I agree with that statement, I dont think it would have been unreasonable to politely ask them to relocate inside because they had a large group waiting to be seated. In fact, I think this would have been the right thing to do in this situation. At this point, I told her I would ask the rest of my party if they wanted to continue waiting or eat elsewhere. She responded that they could seat us indoors immediately IF WE PUT OUR DOG IN THE CAR. I looked at her in disbelief and said "Its really hot... I dont think so." I spoke to my family and everyone was offended. The dog would have certainly died in the car. She then walked over to us and offered to seat us outside, saying we would have to be split up. If it werent for her comment, we probably would have accepted this arrangement even though these tables had been free for quite some time and she didnt think to ask sooner. We told her how upset we were with her comment, and she tried to persuade us to stay - offering a free appetizer. At this point I think she realized how poor her service skills had been. After ignoring us for an hour+ and suggesting to put the dog in the car when it was 100 degrees outside instead of trying to accommodate us in a reasonable way, we were all extremely turned off of this place and we left. This is the worst customer service I have ever received. If you own dogs Im sure you understand why I was so angry. I think they need to make some staffing changes. If you are considering going to Cerberus, I think they have good food - just dont expect good service. If you have a dog, this place is obviously not dog friendly as they claim to be. Overall, there are many places in the area with much better food/ service. Wont be back. UPDATE: I think your response is extremely unprofessional. You ignored all of the other factors that made this a bad experience as well as my experience on the first visit. You focused on the fact that I was angry about your employees comment, and tried to take advantage of the fact that I edited my review to discredit me. Why does it matter if I updated it to add information vs posting it as is the first time? I can only take this as an attempt to discredit my character, which I think is underhanded of you. When your employees say things that negatively reflect on your beliefs and your business, you should take responsibility instead of trying to turn the situation around on the customer. As for your weather comment, I went directly to my car after this interaction and the temperature gauge read exactly 100 degrees. Such a trivial thing to highlight - it was clearly hot enough for her suggestion to be extremely inappropriate. She also never apologized to us - not once. I never attacked her; I recounted my honest experiences in which she was rude, inappropriate, and unaccommodating. We also clearly disagree on acceptable service, as do several others (in the past month alone) looking back at your reviews on yelp and TripAdvisor. I think your response reflects poorly on your business and your ability to make things right with customers, and overall it has solidified my choice to never return here.

After showing up at 5pm on a Friday and told we’d have to wait an hour… we knew we had to come back to find out what the hype was all about! We tried it on a Thursday night, getting there again before 6pm, and this time we only had to wait 15 minutes until a table opened up - yay! We had already read through the menu, so we ordered right away, but since it was so busy it took 30 minutes for the food to arrive. All the servers/hosts were very nice and attentive, even though they seemed overwhelmed. It is a cozy place, so during the summer it is probably easier to find a spot with the additional outdoor seating. Because we were seated at the community table, it was extremely loud and difficult to hear each other. Maybe not so bad for the lucky couples tucked at the end of the room with their own tables! While we waited, we ordered beer from the bar. The list of beers was so long, the digital version on the wall kept rotating before I had a chance to read it. Thankfully a bartender gave us a hardcopy to peruse. I tried the Elysium IPA and it wasn’t nearly as hoppy as I’d hoped, but still good. My husband tried the Delphi Pale Ale, and it was quite light, easy to drink (but not my kind of beer). Once the food finally arrived, it was packed with flavor and I realized — this is why this place is so busy! I devoured the Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese with a side of Apple & Blue Cheese Slaw. Delicious! But I could have easily split it — it was so rich. My husband agreed, saying the same about his. He ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT with a side of Pub Fries. I really loved the homemade sourdough bread that was used, along with the sauces /spices. My husband felt like the house mayo was spread a little heavy on the BLT, but still an all out good sandwich. It would have helped to have a nice heaping of greens on the BLT, the way I had arugula piled on my sandwich. The sides were quite good — not something to help fill the plate, these had just as much character as the main dish. We’ll definitely be back to try other brews and food, but much earlier, before the crowds hit.

This brew pub may have the best food of any brew pub that I have visited. We were looking for a place to enjoy both some food and some craft brew. We were very happy with both the food and the brews. We started with the beer pretzel. The pretzel is a non traditional shape and comes out looking like a large bread stick, but the flavors were right on with a pretzel, with a great brown and salty top. The pretzel wash served with beer cheese dip that blew me away. I usually stick to the mustard and leave the cheese alone, but this time we kept eating the cheese until we were out of pretzel. The brisket grilled cheese was amazing, great smoked brisket topped with creamy cheese and toasted with two pieces of sourdough bread. We also ordered the lamb sliders which came out perfectly cooked and the toppings were full of delicious complimentary flavors. I chose to make the lamb sliders my last bite they were so good. One of the side options was a pickled vegetables which included carrots, cauliflower, green beans, and beats. If you like pickled vegies they are great. We did a flight of Belgian styled beers. They were all very traditional in their flavor profiles and were rich and creamy just like you would expect. Great drinkable beers that you could enjoy all through a lazy afternoon. Our waitress was amazing and made the whole dining experience fun. I would be a regular here if I lived in the area.
