Could not find them on Yelp...still looking. Anyway, they suck! The lackadaisical attitude of the wait staff is astonishing...maybe they only have that attitude with certain demographics. The other night i went for a girls night out and the waitress Devon/female (i think) barely checked on us. We saw her maybe twice since we found our own table. (BTW...we had to ask for a table to be cleaned so we could sit down). We would have ordered more since a friend came late but since Devon was MIA...we gave up. Finally asked for our check and i decided NOT to give a tip. (my right as a consumer /customer..right?!?!) Turns out...the waitress decided to give herself a tip dispite the fact that i literally wrote, "Nope-u suck" in the tip line. Thank heavens I am so efficient and organized that i only found out that she gave herself a 7 dollar tip because i was balancing my books and i keep all receipts . All-in-all, if they can STEAL money from a consumers credit card just to "teach someone a lesson regarding what they write on a receipt " then they could do worse. No integrity! Yes, i could have kept my "u suck" note off the tip line BUT that does not mean u have license to be a thief!!!! I opened a fraud case, theft case with my bank and BBB of Denver. Still waiting for Jim (manager) to call me regarding this. Based on the reviews below mine, sounds like this happens more often than i thought with these folks. Wished i read these before. Wonder if someone took the time to calculate the amount of money miss charged by waiters multiplied by # of customers (victims) ...i bet collectively this wouldnt be considered a small misdemeanor theft.

The food is the best part of the experience. The wait staff are the most rude individuals. Especially the short darker skinned female who worked behind the bar the night of Friday April the 21st. We had a LARGE party of people and spent easily $300.00 in total there that night. Someone spilt a cup of water not a full cup but enough to make a mess, this particular bartender walked by with a shirt on that said "staff", which all of them do that work there. A male from our table nicely asked her for some napkins because even though we had food on the table no napkins were brought. We needed some to clean up the water. This females response was, "what do I look like???? I dont even work out here in this section!" She threw napkins at the table and stormed out to the smoking section. Um.....first and foremost you work for the establishment in general all we asked for were some napkins and no one was rude to her. She was on her way out to the smoking section where Id assume she was going to get in her much needed smoke time. Also, my friend ordered food before we got there, her fries still were not at the table by the time we got all our food. The wait staff is obviously overwhelmed. So my advice would be to go early when no one is there otherwise you will get half assed rude service. Food was good but, that was all that was good about the experience, period. Now I remember why I stopped coming here when I was 22. Im now 30 and I wont be back but to get some to-go wings. The bar itself is screwed because of the rude staff that work there.

We were there for fight night on 5/8/10 and arrived at 3:00. We got there early to make sure we got a seat. We had our first server who wasn’t horrible but not friendly either. We were asked to close out our tab around 5 so he could leave. Our next server was horrible. As soon as we had our sixth guest show up we didn’t see our waitress almost all night. We had to beg for service, ask other waitresses to get our and get our own drinks at the bar. IT wasn’t that busy but our server knew they have a rule that if you have 6 or more people 20% tip is added to the tab. Our tab was just over $200 (we ate and drank for 8 hours) but we were surprised at the mandatory $53 tip she has given herself. I was a waitress for years and never give under 15% even if you are horrible but being forced to pay what I consider a great tip? It was the worse service ever and when we complained about the waitress the owner was rude and gave horrible attitude. The server was not only unprofessional but extremely arrogant about the situation. Pouting, running to her boss and making rude statements to our table. After we complained and paid the bill we were asked to leave before the main fight was on. They had got their money and didn’t care that we had just spent that long in their bar paying good money to be there. By far the worse service and ownership I have ever seen. It’s sad when such horrible service is given and I hope they go out of business.

We go to Challengers to watch Game 3 of the NBA Finals. We arrive early in order to get a seat in front of the big screen TV right by the front door. The game starts and they still have an ESPN TV show on the big screen. The game started on two of the 6 TVs in the place. I ask my waitress to change the channel on the big screen TV to the game since it had started. She says okay. I place my drink and wing order. I watch her go to the bartender and ask him to change the channel. She submits our order and brings the drinks and informs our party that the only TVs that will show the game are the two smaller ones on the other side of the room. Huh? She tries to walk away. I stop her and explain to her its the Finals and you have a documentary show from ESPN on the biggest screen in the place and you dont even have the game coming through the speakers (playing some twangy music). She shrugs her shoulders and says he (guy behind bar) wont change the channel. I canceled my order (to her surprise), she still brought the wings out as a to go. I informed her that I am not paying for the wings. I paid for the drink and went to Benchwarmers. The game was on every TV and the audio was tuned to the game. I ordered a new drink and some wings. Finally! Challengers lost their sports bar cred with me. Never again.

The worst experience ever. Stuff sucks and the crowd consists of racists that dont like white people.. I used to come to this bar few years ago, and it was a nice place to hang out in. This time we came at 1am in the morning after cosmic bowling next door. When we first walked in and set down on a table, waiter told us there is some person sitting here, and we can sit at any table except for this one. The only place available was the outside patio, so we sat there and ordered food. First these nude African Americans made us feel unwelcome by giving us dirty looks, as we were the only white people in there. Then this guy started ashing his cigarette in our ashtray, but when we moved the ashtray, he straight up ashed right on our table. I came up to him and told him nicely not to do it and to get further away from our table, he just looked at me funny didnt move a muscle. I went to waiters and they didnt do nothing either, didnt even come up to the guy. I will never come back here or recommend anyone coming here.
