We were really offended. First impression is lasting. That would be our first and last at that place. When we came in, nobody was there to sit us at a table. I had to chase a waitress to find our reserved table. There werent any names for the reserved table. It would really help a bit if they did put last names--maybe. So, we finally just sat at a table that said--reserved. We took the liberty to just sit instead of standing for 5 minutes. Another waitress came to our table and said that the table was reserved, so I told her I reserved a table earlier that day. She checked and it was the table I reserved. Then after we ordered our drinks, the owner came (I think he was the owner because we saw the pictures on the wall) and told us to move. Literally saying--"Come with me (with the hand motion), this is not your reserved table". Your table was at the back.He was talking to my husband and my husband did not know. He wasnt polite in asking us to move. People around us were literally staring at us. So we were at the back, and we saw that he---the owner seated another group. His excuse was that the table was reserved to the band. That wasnt the band. The band was still playing...Duh! We are not stupid. We were there to show support to the band whom we know one of the members personally. One of the member of the band was our host for that night for a meet up group. Anyway, PROOF was way better. So we left and went to Proof instead. We only took a sip of our drinks and left. If he was polite asking us to move then it would have been okey. ---offended Filipina

Sorry to say despite the initial hype of a hot night dancing I was a bit disappointed. Now I do have to say that the band was top notch. This place is all about the dancing. However, there were far too many people to enjoy it fully. It was so jammed we had to dance like tooth picks but we made the best of it. The end game here is if you are gonna let that many people in there the owner needs to enlarge the floor and have better access to the floor and bathroom. It was clear that there was little thought to anything more than to stuff as many people in to make as much money as possible. I seriously was thinking maybe Boss Hog owned this place. What really killed it for us was the two things beyond the cramming of people tighter than a Tokyo subway train was very poor service and sky high drink cost. Even worse was they must have been short on glasses so every time we danced we came back to our table and our expensive drinks we bussed from the table before we were done. No one to fix that issue for us. Waitress no where in sight and three deep at the bar. We drove an hour and half to get to this place. Was a complete bust for us. Got to see our friends was the only upside.

Had not been to Bistro Al Vino for a number of years. First glass of wine ordered was not available. The salad arrived with two strands of hair in it (one could have been mine due to the length, the other was too short). The mahi tacos tasted like old fish, when I sent it back I was told that they had ran out of mahi and had to substitute, never did find out what the substitue was. I was told I could order something else off the bar menu that was 50% off until a certain time. I ordered the tamales that were not too bad. Got the bill and there was no 50% off because it was after the time, although I had ordered my original meal before the time. That said, I requested consideration on the bill for all the problems. They comped the salad and gave me the 50% off. Really shouldnt have had to ask after an experience like that....

They are trying. It took about 20 minutes each time we tried to get a drink. So my advice is double fist all night. To close our tab it took over 30 minutes. Thats not because they tried to keep us.. thats because they couldnt figure out what to do. There were lots of people working so the wait times shouldnt have been that long. They just dont have their systems figured out yet. They need a bartender only for the waitresses. They need 2 bartenders for each sides of the bar. And they need a waitress station with its own system. There was seriously 5 people trying to run out of one credit card machine. The place was busy. I watched a lot of people leave because they couldnt get waited on. Thanks to the owner we got our last round. Good luck.

The place seemed really nice and had good music. However, my mother and I were waiting in line for water, patiently just so we could order water. When a man cut around us to order we announced that we were here first. We set down a two dollar tip just for waters and the waitress glared at us the entire time she got them. I understand it is busy, but that is the worst service I have ever had. When I went to bring back the water glasses she looked me in the eye and turned away then refused to service me. I hope to never go back. I wish I had given the tip to the amazing band. Waiting for them to have a better venue.

So rude. Customer service seems to be of no concern. Sat at bar and bartender was such a crab. No hospitality, no personality, no way I would go back. I am an over tipper but she got next to nothing from me. Pretentious with no reason to be. You are in a strip mall for petes sake, honey. Watched 3 other friends get the same treatment. None of us will ever go back because of one girl behind the bar. Sorry Al Bistro.

My group has been meeting every Monday at Als Bistro for a year now. Al and Brenda and their staff could not be better to us. The food is not fast (I read some comments below) but this is a very European-style Bistro. The food and the wines are great, and Al treats you like family every time! Tuesdays through Saturdays have live music.

The band Phatt daddy is a must see!!!! I like the ambience but thats it. The servers are EXTREMELY slow and DISorganized. We went outside to smoke and the waitress was VERY rude explaining where the smoking location is... and shes WAY too old to waitress but hey, I give anyone credit tying to make ends meet.

Just got back from dinner on a Tuesday night. While the food was good, the service was very poor. We waited 20 minutes after we were finished and finally had to track the server down to get the check, and then another 10 minutes after that. We will definitely be finding another place to spend our time/money.

The wait staff was slow. Went there on a Saturday with live music and there just wasnt enough wait staff. Order food and for what I paid it was a small amount. The beer prices were good. The mixed drinks were missing the alcohol, however you can make it a double (at a price) to make it taste luke a mix drink.
