Mixing rice and tomato curry isnt biryani. This place is far from authentic traditional food. There food is nowhere near palatable and the customer service is sub par. Your food shouldnt take 1 hour to arrive when you are the only customer in the resturant. Probably one of the worst desi resturant I have been to. I dont normally review resturants but when the food is this bad i feel obligated to warn others.

The Indian food at this place is superb - high quality, authentic and flavorful. If are craving for bomb-a$$ Indian food, this place is a must. My Recommendations for first timers. Chicken Tikka Masala Chicken Briyani Rice Garlic Naan bread. Drinks: Lassi (mango) Order the above and I promise you wont be disappointed. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Best Indian food in town hands down! Dont let the building fool you, the food is really excellent! Food wise 5 stars, the best Indian food Ive ever had. The appearance of the restaurant could use a little help. The portions and price are reasonable and flavor is great. The most common dish would be the chicken tikka masala. give it a try here because its something special.

Took 45 minutes to get the food to table. Waiter didnt appear happy, no smile no conversation. Food was not authentic. Biryani is NOT mixing curry and rice, its a unique process to create one. Korma tasted like tomato curry. The only ok item was Naan. This restaurant can only get a 4 star by people who havent had authentic South Indian food.

The food here is delicious. The manager is friendly and very courteous. Usmania is a great place to enjoy Indo-Pakistani food. The combined experience of the food and the service is like being a guest at someones house- a house with parking and a neon sign on the window. My wife and l love to eat here. What a delicious food!! Dont worry about the look of this restaurant, also they said they dont deliver to hotels in the area anymore, so we went to pick up Biryani, fish fry, nihari and seekh kabab and gulab jamun. Everything was very good and very tasty. I would highly recommend Usmania Halal in Anahiem Disneyland area.

I love spicy food. The heat in this food takes it to a whole different level though. I was on fire in a good way! The decor leaves something to be desired. Love staff hospitality. Service was fast and courteous. Mr. Abdul Rahman, the mansger went out of his way to accomadate our tastes. They get 4 stars in my books.

Great quality Indian/Pakistani food. I usually get the biryani, tendori platter and some curries. With naan and some mango lassi, its a feast. Can feed about 4 people for around $60 if you share the dishes. The food is always fresh and tastes great.

Food was good but service was very slow. Waited an hour for our food & there were no other customers at the time. Other reviews really hyped up this place up, little disappointed. Also food leaks through the paper plates.

A nice selection on traditional Indian entrès, meat eaters & vegetarians will be pleased. No pre-set meals. Everything is a la carte. We ordered our food medium spicy and added some raitya just in case; just right!

My family and I were visiting the area from San Diego. We looked up the reviews and went to Usmania. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. Its not a fancy looking building or place but good was great!

Ordered a Goat Biryani and a goat Karahi with 5 naan. Biryani had no taste and it tasted like white rice with food coloring and a couple pieces of meat. The Karahi was also bland and didnt have taste.
