Seriously not to be totally cheesy or corny, but this place really is a, "Whoooo! As good as it gets!" Im a samosa snob. Like, literally. I judge how well an Indian restaurants cuisine will be simply on their samosas alone. If the samosa sucks, there is a 99.9% likelihood the entrees suck too. So far my theory has not proved wrong. Koyla has the second best samosas I have ever greedily shoved in my mouth. They were simply to die for delicious. As far as the entrees, between the three of us we all sampled the chicken tiki masala, curry goat, and curry lamb. I typically always play it on the safe side the first time I try a new Indian restaurant and order the chicken tiki masala, because you cant really mess that dish up too badly. The waitress said I made a good decision because they are known for this specific dish. She was not wrong. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and the dish was literally "melt in your mouth like butter." I felt like I was having a party in my mouth, because I could taste all the flavors and the sauce was not over powering in the least. I sampled my friends goat and lamb, and while those are usually two meats that can be tricky to cook, neither were tough at all. As far as the prices they were very affordable and the restaurant had coupons online. Its good to see Ontario has stepped its game up.

Wow, wow, wow! We just got home from an amazing meal at Bella Trattoria. We were there early evening and were treated like old friends by the entire staff. We were given the menu and noticed there were no bone marrow for appetizers, which we were looking forward to having. When we asked about it, our waiter went to the kitchen and came back and said they would fix them for us! OMG, they were so good and so rich! My hubby had the special of lasagne, which is something of his specialty whenever he makes it at home and it was chock full of meat and so delicious! Equal to my husbands version. I ordered the Gnocchi verde with spinach gnocchi and a gorgonzola cremini mushroom sauce. Oh dear god, it was so rich, and the gnocchi melted on your tongue, not some chewy, tough gnocchi you usually get at lesser Italian restaurants. They really should charge the same and make it an appetizer. Brought half of it home.We asked for a wine suggestion and the Barbera our waiter chose was perfect. The panna cotta they serve complimentary at the end of the meal is quite delicious as well. Im so happy weve found a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant again, although we live in Daly City, but will happily make the easy trip to get there. I had to give our waiter a hug when we left, it was such a nice meal.

Previously, I placed an order over the phone, the manager Richie told me that it would take 30 minutes to finish. then when i got there he told me that it would take another 20 minutes and i called them at 7:35 and when i got there it was 8:10. so the manager also claims to tell me that he told me 45 minutes which was false. so i ended up walking out of their with my order at around 8:25. Update: when i got home i had called the owner and i explained to him everything that had happened. He was kind, understandable and reasonably aware of my bad experience, so he compensated me with a free order of chili chicken with basmati rice which was very nice of him. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future and so will my family. I highly recommend this restaurant if you love Indian food.

I have had buffet here many times. I like the food here. I would not say that it is the authentic Indian food but the food is good. They make less spicy so everyone can eat it. The lunch buffet is good . Its $8.99+ tax in weekdays and different price for weekend. The sitting is good and comfortable and ambience is good. You can come here with friends and family. The service is good but not all the times. If I want to suggest few things here I would say that they should improve the deserts in the buffet and sometimes one or two items from buffet smells but if you ignore these cons the overall experience is good. So, if you havent been here you should go and try it for yourself I think its worth giving a try.

Had a few things while we were here: Chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, baingan aloo (eggplant/potato), gobi manchurian, and of course, garlic/chili naan. I must say, as an Indian, this food was amazingly good. The menu features dozens of options, each more tempting than the last. I went with 2 friends who had never tried Indian food, and they loved every morsel. I also thought the food was excellent, the portions were filling, and the atmosphere was nice. Service was absolutely amazing as well. Highly recommend!

The service here is HORRIBLE. I walked in to place an order and a man was on the telephone. He did not say anything to me, not hello or Ill be with you in a minute, nothing. He was on the phone for at least 10 minutes. He gets off only to tell me that theyre not doing to-go orders because it was between services, although I was there during the listed dinner hours. So I waited all that time and still didnt get any food. So rude, I will not be going back there.

I love the food. It gets five stars just because of the food lol. The service is a 4 borderline 3. Theyre nice and friendly but can be slow at times. But that does not deter me from loving this place Im practically there every Sunday with my family after church. The price is very reasonable. I wouldnt come in mothers or fathers day though, simply because they raise the buffet price and the variety in entree options isnt worth it. Just come on a normal day.

What a find!!! Kolya Indian Grill is a small place where the staff are very gracious. But that is not the best part. The food at this establishment is exquisite. We tried both the fine dining in the evening where they will cater to the heat level that you prefer as well as their buffet lunch. As if we werent stuffed by the fantastic curries, we finished off with an totally awesome carrot "pudding". We will be back as often as they let us come to CA.
