UPDATE: I have been back to the place twice since I wrote the review below. The service has gotten much better. ----------------- We stood at the door waiting for someone to seat us for 3 minutes, than finally seated ourselves. Waited about 10 minutes for someone to bring us a menu. Food took about 20 minutes to make which is not long, but the order came out wrong. Food was very tasty and the prices were good. Then after they cleared off our table, we could not get anyones attention to bring us a check. Finally flagged down a waiter and asked for the check, and 10 minutes later asked for the check a 2nd time which they finally brought. As of the day I am writing this they have only been open for 3 weeks, so I have my fingers crossed (for their sake) that they get their act together soon.

I was looking for some good Indian restaurants around Hyatt hotel and got this one. I have been to many Indian restaurants around bay area but this one turned up as disaster. These guys dont know how to cook Indian food, I ordered Daal Tadka and I could not believe how badly someone can cook the most cook food of India firstly there was no Tadka, no proper spices and totally looks like a paste. It was boiled daal with just salt and little bit turmeric powder. Everything from Soup(veg soup) to desert (gulab jamun) was worst, no proper ingredients. A very disappointed place. Advice to cook, please go to India and learn how to cook good Indian food. Highly disappointed.

We have dined at the Bollywood Restaurant in Westlake many times over the years. The food has been consistently excellent, and we have never been disappointed. The portions are generous. The dishes are reasonably priced especially if you go for their lunch specials. Our favorites are the tandoori platter, the mutton korma and the mutton pasanda. I would recommend their garlic naan and their mutton samosas. If you prefer vegetarian food, try their baingan bharta (eggplant) and ask for extra hot, if you dare! And the service is always very good. I am of Indian origin and am very familiar with Indian food from various parts of India.

As a person who grew up eating Indian food in an area where there were hundreds of really good restaurants, I have to say that this place is a disaster. All the (poorly cooked) food tastes exactly the same, is incorrectly spiced, (if at all) from which one must conclude that there is a single bowl of some generic sauce in the kitchen (is that word really applicable!) that is slopped over everything before it is served. Therefore, the vindaloo tastes exactly the same as the tikka marsala. Would not last 5 minutes in an area where Indian food was understood and appreciated. A very embarrassing and irritating experience.

Holy moly. This place was phenomenal. The food and flavors and spices are out of this world. The menu is gluten free aside from the obvious (no naan for example). We got chicken tikka masala and curry vegetables with rice. So, so good. We had at least 3 servers checking on us the whole time. Spectacular service! Oh and the food is so reasonably priced. We were happily surprised when the bill arrived. Will return! By the way, the restaurant is a little hard to find. Its down the stairs in an office complex. Call them if you get lost.

The food is excellent!!! The restaurant has been opened for 3 weeks and the place was packed!! Loved the small, intimate setting. The vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, rice, chutneys, mango lassi, everything was wonderful...fresh spices make a huge difference in Indian cooking. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, but get there early or make a reservation, or you might find yourself waiting for a table---drooling.

Always a big fan of Indian food, and this place is a great place for it! My coworkers and I ordered online and picked it up from the store. Even when it was in to-go containers, it was still so good. I got the chicken tikka masala - um, wow. Flavor was wonderful and the chicken practically melted in your mouth. Ordering the lunch combo gives you rice and naan with it, which was also wonderful. Would love to try some of their other dishes another time.

This was a wonderful restaurant. Food was fantastic- Tikka Marsala was one of the best. Prices were reasonable. My husband and I planned on going to dinner there on our date night, our childcare fell through, so we brought our son. Not really a place for children because it is so intimate, but no one seemed to mind.

A hidden gem... Literally. Bollywood is tucked downstairs in a hidden corner of The Water Court. But once you find it, youre in for a treat. I usually get the chicken tikka jalfrezi, but everything Ive ever gotten has been great.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Nice location. Nice staff. Best lamb korma Ive ever had. I honestly come here like 2 or 3 times a week after going bouldering at Boulderdash next door, and I never get sick of it. 5 stars!

The food was served fast, the waiters are really professional and welcoming. I order chicken curry which was delicious, only problem was it was too spicy for my taste but overall it was great! 10/10 would recommend

My favorite Indian Restaurant in Ventura County. It may not me the most "authentic" Indian cuisine but it is hands down the most delicious and highest quality. The staff are always incredibly nice.
