indian haweli is sooooo good food i realy like i tI went for dinner here with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, we were spoiled because the place was nearly empty and we were given their full attention. There are lots of Indian restaurants in the Simi Valley & Thousand Oaks. The decor in many of them is bland, unoriginal and/or not interesting. I would say indian haweli is consistent with the competition in the decor category and need of some more of Indian artwork you typically see in many of them. If you want great decor, head over the hill to Ventura County if you are up for the drive. I like great food and short drives which makes indian haweli tops on my list of great places for Indian grub.I recommend getting the "red basket" of Indian bread. Youll receive a variety of bread including onion kulcha, garlic naan and plain naan. Furthermore, they have great seafood dishes which is really unique and enjoyable when it is couple with Indian flavors. Its a refreshing upgrade from the basic chicken tandoori. They didnt have their liquor license yet ,which was great. We bought some wonderful beer at a store nearby and they were really easy going about it. They even opened it for us and brought us glasses. No "corkage" fee! ;)The prices were great and the indian haweli is outstanding. I strongly recommend giving Kwality a try and I think youll enjoy an easy going unpretentious atmosphere with fresh food.,,

Delicious! The friendly staff made us feel welcome and were very pleasant. After our experience (my wife, 5 year old daughter and I), we decided we would be long term patrons of this restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, and reasonable prices. The only downfall is the connected market in the adjacent room. It kinda looked like a disaster to be honest. While we were waiting to be seated, we perused the isles of the market and got a little nervous wondering if the restaurant side would be a disaster too. To our delight, the restaurant side was very clean and well kept. I wish I had discovered this place sooner. Cant wait to go back and have more Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma! Give it a shot and youll be very pleased with your experience.

Very nice couple who own the restaurant/grocery store. Really good food, for the most part. The tandori chicken is not the best, but thats not to say it isnt tasty. However, the atmosphere is absolutely horrid--it feels as if you are entering someones living room. I think they are redecorating, but its coming along pretty slowly. Despite all of this, I have only one real complaint: Ive noticed that they will serve Indian people their food before any "other" ethnicities, even when the Indian folk come in significantly later {10-15 mins even!). This is NOT right.

Ordered my food online at 6:30pm, Yelp said est. 30 to 40 minutes, food will be ready at 7:10. I arrive at 7-7:05. The food doesnt come out until 7:45pm. I asked how is it that someone can come in after me, sit down, order, and get their food before me. The person behind the register gets the owner/driver? Looks at the receipt of when the order was placed, doesnt apologize or show that he cares and goes outside to make a delivery. I pay and I leave. Not going back.

I am from England and believe me - the english know their curry houses. This place was dirty, jumbled and lacking atmosphere. The chicken served tasted like it came out of a tin or had been reheated more than once. Flavours were indifferent. I took a peek into the kitchen and wished I hadnt as it put me off the place for good!

I have shopped here in dire circumstances due to the lack of indian grocery stores in Simi Valley and have ended up with sometimes fungus infected merchandise. Their quality of merchandise is questionable. They dont seem to have any awareness on what they are selling. The couple of owns this restaurant are however nice folks!

This is my third time here for the lunch buffet. The food IS delicious. What I appreciate is the dishes are hot, not lukewarm. The spicy level is perfect for me. Brings the heat but not to take away from the taste of the food. Naan is fresh and hot, too. I recommend it if youve never been here. You wont be disappointed.

The expansion into the nearby storefront is beautiful, service is improved and the food is delish. Vegetarians & meat eaters will be delighted with a wide variety of authenticly prepared selections. Closed Mondays, market is open 7 days.
