This has been my favorite India restaurant in Santa Clarita for the past 6 years... my family either picked up or dinned in once a month and the food; ambiance and service was outstanding... HOWEVER, the last 3 times we have eaten here, the food has been terrible. I inquired about the difference in taste and quality and asked if they changed their recipe or gotten a new chef, but they assured me this was not the case... hence... why i am writing this review. The meat is not tender... tough and poor quality. The sauces are very different and all the food has branches; seeds; leafs and other spices that are large and not appetizing. I am so sad to report the status of this place... however, my family of 5 voted after our last meal this week that we will not go back.

My husband and I picked this place for our 1st wedding anniversary. After a busy day at 6 flags, we booked it a fast as we could to make it on time, only to find that a half hour before closing they were only doing takeout. They wouldnt make an exception to seat us, even knowing it was our special day. What poor and irritating service. By happenstance, we found Tandoori about a block away as we headed back to our hotel. They DID seat us even closer to closing, and were really friendly/food was amazing. Poor/Fair rating Karma...youre appropriately named.

Worst customer service we have ever experienced. Hours said 11:30-10, so we ordered take out at 4:30. My hubs got there and they werent open. He finally got a guy to come to the door who was an absolute jerk and did nothing to help us. They wouldnt even start the food till 5pm. No matter how good the food might be, we will never go back and never recommend this place.

Very good Indian food from a non-expert. I like that they have a reasonably priced buffet since I dont know the name of things that I like and can try many things. The service is so friendly. I once asked if they had any of something that I usually have at the buffet. Since they didnt, the waiter actually brought me a dish of it. Atmosphere is very pleasing.

Good food an ambiance... I ussually go on Sundays, but with the opening of other indian food restaurants near by the choice becomes more difficult as the other are also good. I would say whoever drops the quality a bit looses. competition is good, more choices and more options. Enjoyed the shrimp tika masala while it last. I will come back.

Decent food, service was really uncomfortable all the waiters stare at you while you eat, and are really shifty eyed. There is a difference between good service and annoying waiters trying to butt in to your conversations and asking random questions like it is an interrogation. Okay food at best, weird and uncomfortable service.

Peaceful mood and atmosphere to eat in. Open space with beautiful decor. The food was delicious. We had a sampler that had lots of things to try so its hard to call out one go to dish. I loved the nan but Im a sucker for bread and pre-meal appetizer snacks like that.

Good food. Good people. One thing Id do is cut more fat off of the food such as lamb. Another thing I would do is to keep the rose water out of the rasmalai dessert. I like the atmosphere here better but I like the food batter at Tandoori Grill.

Get the buffet! very cheap and tastes amazing. Good to bring people who never had Indian food before because they can see and pick what they eat at the buffet. If you go after buffet hours, it gets expensive. Best indian place in santa clarita.

A bit pricey but hands down the best tasting Indian food in Santa Clarita...maybe even all of L.A. with excellent service to boot. While my fiance and I waited for our food in the lobby, an employee offered us free chai tea!

Used to be my favorite place for lunch. I dont know if they have changed owners or what. The quality is not nearly as good and the service is aweful. A real shame, I loved that place, but now... no hurry to go bac ok.

Had a very delicious vegan meal today. Much better than when I visited last year. The channa masala was very well spiced! We love that they have a vegan menu. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Best Indian food in Santa Clarita. Lunch buffet is reasonably priced, a la carte items a little pricier but still worth it now and then. Chicken curry and vindaloo are my two favorites.

They force the 15% "gratuity" or tip in your bill if you pay with card. And the service is just not worth it. If you go bring cash or be ready to pay a lot for a bad service

Definitely a yummy experience. Almost an upscale restaurant, Karma offers many tandoori and traditional Indian offerings. Lunch buffet is extra superb.
