Really tasty ramen with flavorful broth, open late, and friendly service. I got takeout ramen and it was delicious! Shisen ramen with level 2 spicy was pretty spicy and I enjoyed every bite! Loved that when you order takeout, they put a piece of cardboard inside of the bag so that it doesnt get off balance and tip over in transport. Being smaller change because they dont accept 100 dollar bills.

Best Japanese restaurant in CA in my humble opinion. Japanese is not just about sushi. Its teriyaki, sushi satsuma and small dishes and Halu has it all. Its a family owned and they are lovely. It also has a Beatles theme that makes it cozy and it just adds to the warm home cooked ambiance that is has.

Its on the cusp of Harbor City and Torrance. Local spot! The Fried rice is my favorite! The Black shisen ramen is soooo yummy! I always ask for the thicker noodle though and its an extra charge.
