Im bummed, this place was one of my favorite ramen place AND it was near where I lived. Ever since the owner changed the quality went down and I havent gone in over a year. Sis told me it got better so I gave it another try last month and I wasnt impressed. The ramen was decent, nothing to rave about. I had the kotteri shoyu, sis likes the other ramen which is lighter. Asa use to serve a unique kind of takoyaki I loved which was served crispy outside and soft inside. I always got the mochi with cheese filling. They still have the takoyaki and theyre good but its not crispy anymore.

This ramen shop has been in this spot for as long as I can remember. So when I finally stepped inside I was wondering to myself why did it take so long!? The whole setting is so cute. They have umbrellas up on the ceiling and fun little knick-knacks on the walls. Aside from the adorable décor, the ramen is really good here. I tried their famed kotteri ramen and the broth is rich and filled with deep flavors. However the menu is a mess. They placed kimchi pork under the gyoza category so when I ordered kimchi pork gyoza, I ended up with a kimchi pork dish AND a gyoza dish. Oops.

Another small ramen shop in torrance. Located on western and 182nd. To newcomers this place might look close cause the door is usually not open. The ramen here is tasty! The broth is flavorful and noodle is yumz! The tokoyaki here is popular. They have a variety to choose from. Tokoyaki is made to order, so its super hottt! I really enjoy it. Service here is good. Staff is very nice. Would definitely come back.

IMO this is the best Ramen in the South Bay. The Kotteri broth is fabulously rich and the noodles are spot on. I love going for lunch as it is inexplicably quiet and not busy. For $9 you can get a bowl of ramen, fired rice and gyoza! Quite the bargain! It is way more crowded after dark but it is still worth any wait. Cannot recommend this place more for authentic Ramen!

I love Asa Ramen, for a while I would go there once a week because their ramen is the best outside of Japan. The menu is simple but solid. Anything you order is going to be good.

Really cozy place with ambiance that reminds me of a ramen bar I visited in Japan ramen is decent and traditional if you want something normal for ramen this is the place.

Not the shops fault, just Google said it should be open on Saturday from 11:30am. Making the trip here when its closed was not a good experience.

Nice atmosphere and good ramen. My go to ramen place in the South Bay area. never had to wait to be seated here either which is pretty nice.

Their standard pork broth ramen is average though my friend had their curry ramen and the broth was heads and shoulders better than mine.

They say to be open at 11:30 for lunch. I waited for 20 more minutes and still closed. A lady inside kept on asking us to wait.

Lunch combo is clutch! Not busy at all, no wait (night time is much busier). Great for a work lunch. Karaage was super good.
