In n Out & Five Guys has got some work to do with The Habit Burger Grill in town! This place was awesome! After eating here, I just wish there were a lot more of these around town! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the cashier, and BOOM! there is this huge menu with all kinds of different, delicious entree/side options! I wasnt sure what I wanted to get since this was my first time there. I had a hard time choosing between the Terriyaki Chargrill w/ Grilled Pineapple and the BBQ Bacon Charburger... Food - I decided to go with the Terriyaki Chargrill w/ Grilled Pineapple and I think I made the right choice! (Even though I want to try the BBQ Bacon next time) I took a nice vulumptious bite out of my burger and it was like a party in my mouth. Between the perfectly cooked patty, the lightly charred pineapple, and then all the fixins, it was fantastic! They also have a little side bar with assorted peppers, I picked up some jalepenos to put on my burger as well. The taste of sweet and spicy just made my night. I also got an order of the Sweet Potato Fries and those were a delicious accent to my burger. They were cooked nicely and had a great sweet potato flavor to go along with it. Service - The employees that all worked there looked like they enjoyed being there. They were very helpful and with a big smile on their faces. They were more than happy to help us out with the different sauces and fixings I needed to be on my way with my food. They were very friendly and made us feel comfortable while we waited for our food. They also made the food very quickly! Perfect for a lunch hour! Overall, this place is pretty sweet. I wish there were more of them and I also wish I knew about this place long before today. But, the Sunnyvale one just opened, so that makes sense. I look forward to eating here again. The food wasnt greasy and didnt fall apart like some burger joints. Also, their prices arent too mean to your pocket.. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Mmm...

For years Cali Natives flocked in waves to In N Out Burger (as we all still do) but move over INO, with Habit growing with chains all along Cali and Arizona they are definitely giving you a run for your money. Yes of course we love our mom and pops and our favorite burger joints around the country are pretty much independently owned, but there are certain times in life----hungover mornings, road trips, overnight layovers, all day shopping trips at the outlets----that the only options around are chains. Habit is a great alternative to In N Out! There are 5 types of burgers on their menu, ranging from the simple charburger to versions topped with BBQ sauce and bacon, mushrooms and Swiss or Teriyaki sauce and a pineapple ring. Other options include salads, grilled sandwiches and all of your standard sides. Being known for their Charburgers and one I tend to favor is the BBQ Bacon Charburger. I know it sounds like a mouthful but thats because it is a mouthful. Their 100% fresh ground beef burgers get their fantastic flavor from being chargrilled over an open flame. The visible grill marks were an indication that the charburger was superior to other chain offerings. I absolutely love the sweetness of the BBQ sauce combined with the sweet flavor of the caramelized onions. The beef also had a smoky flavor and was juicy (despite being pattied so thin) Their fries achieved awesomeness to the fullest extent. They were golden brown, crisp and light. They would be even more great dunked in ketchup or your shake but if your a sweet potato fan then the sweet spuds are the way to go! Their milkshakes are delectable! I usually order a mocha shake with my meal and its apparent they are use real ice cream to make their milkshakes extra creamy. Dipping the salty French fries in the shakes helps to boost the fries worth (dont judge...try dipping your fries in your milkshake or ice cream...its surprisingly good!)

Better than In-N-Out, The Habit is what Id imagine a fast food version of The Counter to be like. This place has great prices, more (but not too many) options, great burgers, sweet potato fries, and nice, comfortable seating. The burger quality is better than any other fast food chain. They take your order and give you one of those little coaster pagers, so there isnt this constant yelling of names or numbers. I had a bacon cheeseburger. Patty was thicker than other fast food burgers. Bacon was crisp. Cheese was melted all over. The burger was put together well - no bits falling out. The sweet potato fries were cooked just right: crispy on the outside and not overdone.

I had to come in after reading the comparisons between the habit and in n out. Sadly I dont think it compares. Not to in n out. The taste is somewhere between burger King and five guys. Its not amazing but its not terrible. The fries and onion rings definitely taste like fast food frozen. Now to the service. The cool had to get the manager to address the customer! Thats a major hit. The staff seemed to do nothing but gossip and giggle. The patio area was disgusting with ketchup around the tables and waste all over the floor. I doubt I will return.

Went there yesterday with wife, kids, and a friend. Hamburgers, cheeseburger, fries, chicken sandwich, chicken salad, ice cream, all good, and judging by the time taken, were cooked to order; the chicken sandwich, which I had, was a generous portion and very tasty. Server brought napkins when we asked, checked if we wanted our trays cleared, and so on. One drawback: the indoor section had music too loud for comfortable conversation. However, the outdoor section was pleasant, with a full canopy. Will very likely go back there soon.

The food was great, but the staff was unprofessional and distracted. One person was handling the register, refilling the condiments and soda fountain, cleaning and clearing tables, taking out the trash, and sweeping the floors. One was cooking the patties, but all the others were just standing there and talking! Then when rush hour comes around, they panic and frantically finish the orders, sometimes getting orders wrong. Their food is great, but the staff should really work out a productive system.

Not quite sure why people like this place so much. The patties here are so small and remind me of someone buying a huge pack or frozen patties from Costco and then cooking them at a city park. The patty wasnt dry but it didnt measure up to the thicker patties that most burger places make themselves. The toppings make the burger here (which isnt necessarily a good thing). So be definitely sure to ask for cheese and bacon at the least! Without them, this burger is just your below average burger.

I always tell my friends that I put The Habit on par with In-N-Out. Lots of people would call me a heathen, but at least give it a try before you do that. They have a good selection of burgers and sandwiches, and all their sides like onion rings and shakes are excellent. Its a nice change to your average fast food burger, and it will show in the quality of the burger and its ingredients.
