I had carnitas tacos and they were anemic in color... The meat did not taste or appear to be fresh; it was dry, dense and cut into cubes as opposed to shredded/ripped and unflavorful. I asked for green salsa, I got red which was also hot but I flavorful as well. The tacos were watery, too. Luckily for them, it was a to- go order because I would have asked for my money back. I dont know how they stay in business... Tacos are simple. The only thing those tacos had going for them was the size because they were not on the teeny taco size tortillas so theyd be satisfying... Which would be great if they were good! However, thats some of the worst Latino food Ive ever tasted. I was trying to save the hubby a trip across town... Bad choice. If you know what a taco should taste like, this is NOT the spot for you.

This is very good food at a very reasonable price. The chili rellenos are fantastic. The burrito mojado, Caldo de Res, the carne asada plate, the super quesadilla Suiza... sooooo good. I wish they served their posole more times during the week. Actually, maybe I hate this place after all because I eat here so much Im getting really fat hahaha. If you like great food and dont want to pay a ridiculous price for it this is where you want to go.

I am amazed at this place it is sad to see this place empty when the food is so good and worth every penny everything has flavor, from the burritos to the sauces. The owner is really nice and very calm everything is made fresh. I can actually say i felt at home. The only downside is it was very hot in there maybe they should turn on the ac, otherwise everything was great....

Asked for asada fries and the old man asked whats that? I started to explain and after 2 words, he cut me off and said no I wont make that. Rude. So simple you make the fries then put Carne asada on top. Never coming here. Wish I was back in LA now

This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. Ordered a chicken chimichunga. It tasted like it had been fried in rancid oil. Chicken inside was also horrible. Only went here because Black Bear Diner was closed. Never will go back.
