Unfussy, thats right ! Some times the most authentic mexican food comes from the most unfussy spots. I myself have had the best Mexican food meals from Roach Coachs and Street Vender Taco Carts. This is at least a place you can bring your family to have a sit down meal, not a roach coach ot taco cart. Down the street is another, very sort of Fussy mexican restaurant, that offers live music performances by Mariachi bands. Their facilities are nicer, but the food itself is nothing in comparison. Its like comparing a frozen food TV dinner with home made. I prefer the piece and quiet of this NonFussy much more authenic meal compared to the much more expensive loud and noisey TV dinner Mariachi experience.

Was there past sunday, people please pay attention to their restrooms, flies that grow in holding tanks ( sewer) were flying around they are attracted to the lights. We have been coming here since they moved from Del mar Avenue. Rosemead obviously for their good food but I think That will try somewhere else next time.

We stopped here for dinner after a day at the Santa Anita races. This establishment is everything you would expect of a finer-dining spot. The food is top rate and the service very good. Adding to this, they offer valet parking. Try it, youll like it! You might even spot a horse racing celebrity in the process.

Prices were reasonable for what we received. Large portions of Food. Handmade tortillas. Street parking is available but we parked in the large parking lot behind the restaurant. Although we live about 90 minutes from this restaurant, we are already planning our return visit.

The wait on a Sunday morning at around 10:45 was between 45min. to 1hr. The wait may have been extended because we wanted an outside table so we could watch the airplanes. Service was good. My wife and I eat Mexican food a lot so we have an idea what is good.
