The price is incredibly inexpensive. My family has been raving about the amazing seafood the restaurant offers, so I went. Maybe its because I didnt bother to actually try the seafood, but the rest of the food matched the price of the place: it tasted cheap, kind of like they had dumped frozen packages into a pan, stirred it around and served it. I sampled each dessert and they tasted stale. Their pudding is overly sweetened. Honestly the best dessert they had were the apples, which tasted great. The staff were polite and stayed in the background, they werent super friendly but they werent rude. The place is nothing fancy, but I would take my family there for a casual meal. I came 12/23/15 and am pointing that day out specifically because there was a ukulele player/singer that performed. She had a beautiful voice and definitely had talent with the ukulele (an instrument I love), but the restaurants sound system muffled her voice so much that I was cringing. The food is alright but I still left with a full stomach :)

Definitivamente pensé que la comida estaría rica por los comentarios que vi pero que decepción la comida fría y no hay mucha variedad y para el colmo el servicio está de lo peor que unas de las meceras estaban enredando las cucharas y tenedores y se les caía al suela y el colmo sin importarles lo levantaban como si nada y así los enredaban con la servilleta rascándose la cara su cabello de verdad que decepción no lo recomiendo

There are better chinese buffets out there...way better. Really surprised how many positive reviews this place has. There is a buffet in concord called China Wall that is 5 dollars cheaper, cleaner, way more variety and WAY better quality. This place has horrible quality food even for buffer standards. Their sushi is a joke; theres like 4 or 5 different types and it looks like a 4 year old w parkinsons disease made them. The flavor of everything on their buffer is off, tastes overly oily. Even their crab Rangoon and egg rolls have a bad taste. Awful soup. Truly no redeeming features here. Its all you can eat but not much youd even want to eat

HORRIBLE PLACE!!! Never come here! The food is terrible and the service is only worse. I came to visit San Pablo with my family from SF, and my afternoon was ruined after my experience here. I went in requesting 2 tables for a large party, and they refused to move a table even though they had plenty of extras. The waitress had a terrible attitude and thinking i wasnt looking she would whisper to another one and look at me and laugh. NEVER come here!! Dont waste your money on this TRASH!!!

FOUL place. Foul service, foul food—never come here. I came with my family, a group quite large, and I requested that a table be moved so all of us could sit together. They completely refused to move the tables, and they wanted to make us sit in the back claiming that a table near the bathrooms was "better". Overall I ended up leaving and as I walked out I could see the waitress whispering to another one and laughing at me. Never come here, its a horrible place in all aspects.

Hands down has to be the most disgusting place I have ever eaten at. They will give you dirty dishes, they have a very low selection of sushi, every dish is covered in grease, and the tables were absolutely filthy. My boyfriend complained about the awful service to management and he was only discounted $5 dollars afterwards. I wouldnt recommend this place to raccoons!

everthing was ok until the guy who does the Mongolian grill washed the cooking utensils in the sink where you wash your hands used hand sanitizer didnt rinse it then proceeded to put those utensils in the food he was cooking. Then he brings that same plate of food and slammed it down on my table. I will not be back.

This place is very dirty. Last time I came here we were some of the first people to be seated and the chairs where dirty there was still food on the chairs ground and tables where smeared not well cleaned. The place smells dirty. I would not recommend it. Will not be going back.

They have good crab, but everything else is basic. However, if you are hungry and broke, this is a good place to go. They have good dinner selections, not so well on lunch. But it needs deep cleaning of everything, everything just looks old. They need to remodel.

Had a good time with my wife and kids plus the food was great, diverse Asian food and they even have pizza, fries and ice cream as my kids like and a fruit and vegetable section. Definitely would recommend this place and will be back... Viva Las Empire Buffet!

Empire buffet has a great selection of Chinese food. But they will charge you extra if you didnt finish the food you picked. So dont let your eyes tell you that your hungrier than you actually are.

Its decent and reasonably clean. They keep up with stalking the buffet, and food is consistent as far as taste and quality. Ive been going for 4 years now... and am on my way there right now lol.

Limit of 5 ft for kids? Really? Some kids nowadays are taller than their mamas! They shouldnt base wether they "qualify" as a kid based on their height which they obviously have no control over.

You get what you pay for, be prepared to eat the really bad food you put on your plate, because if you dont finish a plate they will charge you extra, regardless of the quality.
