If you want delicious well-made fresh food and fabulous tea, then go to Bacheesos. I have been several times and have never been disappointed. You can eat from a buffet or order from a menu. The people who are serving are very kind and helpful. A big bonus is that the ambiance is very nice. Also, it is easy to hear the other people at your table.

Absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, tender, and amazingly flaverful. Came in at 330, with the buffet closing at 4. Did not feel rushed at all, very friendly staff. Even politely asked if we needed anything else before they started putting everthing away at 4:05 :)

“Nice setting” The setting of the restaurant is certainly one of the highlights. Unfortunately, my steak did not really live up to the same level. It was not bad, but a bit dry. So next time I may try the lamb or the duck. But the service was good.

Amazing family style food. So many lamb dishes, salads, and vegetarian dishes. The borscht is as good as my grandmothers. The buffet is the best bet. And not expensive! Healthy organic food, but the traditional kind I remember from home.

Quiet place with lots of wonderful decor and a very friendly owner. Food was fresh and good tasting with several choices. I couldnt believe this place wasnt crowed Berkeley s hidden secret for home cooked, organic meals.

Excellent organic Mediterranean buffet. Gourmet selection a variety for veg and non-veg; great for weekend brunch. Nice outdoor seating when its sunny and the owner donates to people in a need. A local gem.

Come here if you want cheap, all-you-can-eat ($13 per pax, as of this writing), and decent Mediterranean (primarily Persian) buffet. If you do, lower your expectations, and youll have a nice time.

I like this location better than their Grand Ave. Here, I dont feel rush or ask to do two plates only. The food taste and look presentable. Whats more parking is plenty.
