Just today I ordered from the Fortune Star Chinese Restaurant, and I am compelled to say that the quality of the cuisine that I purchased is surpassed only by the reasonableness of price at which I acquired it. I have a strong feeling that I will be patronizing this restaurant frequently, and I am elated at the discovery of this new venue that offers fast delivery, especially when I am indisposed to travel, due to my infrequent vices. My only regret about my transaction is not being able to have on my person sufficient enough cash as to give a proper tip to the delivery man, who arrived promptly and conducted himself professionally. Their chow mein is exellent, and their sweet and sour chicken is above reproach; the quality of their pot stickers is subordinate only to the restaurant Uncle Chens, which I feel is the forerunner in quality as to that dish. To summarize, the Fortune Star restaurant is worthy of a first try and facilitated by that, worthy of repeat business.

Ive tried several different Chinese food restaurants in the area (San Mateo, Foster City, and Belmont). By far this is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Ive been a patron for the past 4 years because the food is amazing. The Mongolian Beef, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Szcheuan Chicken dishes are a few of my personal favorites. I usually order to go and no matter how much I order my food is ready in about 10 minutes They also offer delivery which is free is you order $25 or more in food. The portions are a good size (I usually have leftovers).

Ok place, nice staff but not mind-blowing selection or quality. Chicken was cooked but more the tough stringy bits versus nice big cubes of white breast meat as I prefer for Orange chicken and similar dishes. Not awful but wasnt exactly what I wanted. Would give it another try of in town and didnt have other options pressing but doubt Id go out of my way to do so.

Great service and delicious food. We ordered shrimp and scallop with vegetables and the portion was big. The egg and tomato soup and green onion pancakes were also both very good. The restaurant is pretty spacious and quiet, good value for price.

Ordered at 6:40pm... Its now 9:00. Called and asked about order and they said they had just gotten my order. When I placed order I received a message that my order was accepted and would arrive within an hour.

I placed an order for delivery, and they said 40-min. Over 2-hrs later, I have no delivery. I called 7-times before someone picked up. I was told, Its on the way. Ill never order from here again.

I go there always, the walnut prawn is delicious the general chikcen, salt paper chicken, comb chow mein is my favorite. It has the best service and is very clean this is my favorite restraunt!
