This place was awesome. I was looking for a place to have a good beer, chill out and have dinner after a 14 hour day. SLO has many options, so I asked the counter person at my hotel. They said eureka was good, but for a more laid back atmosphere go to Laguna grill. It hit the Mark. Plenty of games on the tvs but not overwhelming noise. The bar tender Alyse made sure to actually listen to what I was looking for and offer local suggestions. The beers were plentiful and varied. There also is a large selection of ciders available. The other great this is building your own burger. There are a couple dozen prebuilt combination, but customization is encouraged. The food was cooked perfectly except for the slightly overcooked onion rings. But ask about the shakes for desert. Another secret menu in California. If you are in SLO I highly recommend this as the workin mans place to relax after a long day.

This is my favorite burger joint in SLO. They make their ranch fresh in house and its fantastic. The burger are large, fresh and well priced. Its great to have several options for fries as well. One of the main reasons I go is to watch the game and try whatever new microbrews they have on tap or get whatever the $10 pitcher special is for the night. This is a good place to be a regular at as the crowd is pretty consistent week to week and the waiters and waitresses while sometime might take awhile they are always very friendly.

The only reason I didnt give Laguna Grill 5 stars is because it is a near copy of Firestone Grill in downtown SLO, and Firestone is still king in this town in terms of sports bars. My co-workers and I refer to Laguna Grill as "Firestone West". That being said, the food is pretty good. The beer-battered and sweet potato fries are excellent. The Caesar Salad with tri-tip I had today was epic. Its definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I had a disappointing time here. The waiter was more interested in talking with the waitresses than checking on us. He got our drink orders quickly, but then seemed in a rush to get our food order. The burger buns were stale, and the onion rings were overcooked. The waiter came back when we were nearly done to ask us if we wanted another beer, which we passed on.

Dont come here to get real food, come to get beer and watch a game! Some of the snacks are ok, but they are consistently inconsistent. My go-to is the green salad, big and pretty much the only healthy thing you can eat here. Please DO NOT come here if you dont like the Warriors when theres a game on. Not a date place. Good for groups and children friendly.

The only reason I didnt give this place five stars is because its really loud. Its a sports bar type place which Im usually not a fan of, but I come here for the food. The burgers are to die for and everything else Ive tried is really good too.

Laguna Grill has fantastic food at reasonable prices. Theres a ton more seating after they remodeled, and the staff is cheerful and fun. I 150% recommend the beer battered fries with a side of ranch, and any of their burgers.
