My wife and I went because a co-worker of mine recommended it. Well, we get there and there was no hostess. No worries. We were finally greeted and sat at a table. The decor is pleasant and the wine list extensive. My wife had wine and I requested a Johnny Walker Rob Roy. The bartender got it wrong. She shook the drink instead of stirring it; it created ice crystals in the drink. Also not enough angostura bitters and sans a maraschino cherry. Again, not a big deal. I wont waste perfectly nice scotch. We ordered the steamed clams and they were nice. Not overly favorable, but whatever. For dinner, we ordered the Coconut Lime Halibut with Asian "sticky rice". This was a total disappointment. The flavor was lacking royally. The Halibut was dry and the rice was just steamed flavorless rice that was not sticky at all. Im not sure why this dish has the word "coconut" in it, because it didnt even have an essence of coconut anywhere. Just opaque water under the rice. My wife and I typically dont complain about edible food, we simply wont return.

At first glance as you pass the restaurant and on the building you get to know if you can be immediately be seated. When you get to the door a nice hostest opens the door asks where you would like to be seated; We choose the bar. Todd was our server last night. We ate at the bar. He was prompt with the drinks French 75. Side note I highly recommend this. Soon after the apps came out. We ordered the fried mushrooms the batter was lightly coated. The mushrooms were cut instead of how you would usually receive them at most restaurants. Not too much time had lapsed after we were done with the apps that we had our dinners arrive. Now Ive had plenty of shrimp meals, but this meal was different. I omitted the tomato based sauce for a creamy white sauce. It was delightful to say the lest with the bow tie pasta. This was a nice touch because you didnt have to worry about spinning the noodles with your fork. Just a simple change, but it just works. My meal and service were just wonderful and I will definitely be back. Maggie Williams

I came here for lunch with some fellow work guys to have a quick meeting and get some food. This was the first time Id been here since the building had changed ownership to Creekside. It is still an extremely nice building and has an upscale feel when you walk in. We were able to get a table to the right as you walk in that is a tad more private. After checking out the menu I decided to order fish and chips ($15). It was two pieces of cod and about 15 french fries. The fish was okay, but the breading was a little bit heavy for my taste. The fries were really good, but as one of the guys in my group pointed out - its always a shame when it feels like someone counted your French fries as they put them on your plate! Overall the service was good and the rest of the group was very happy with their food. It probably wont become a staple restaurant for me, but Ill try it again!

Came into town for the holidays and invited friends out to Creekside for dinner. Food was okay but not memorable. No one at our 7 person table came close to saying "Wow" about their meal. Service person was very nice but not available. I had to hunt down a soup spoon for friend and then a steak knife for myself by the kitchen. Half way through my steak the wine was gone. Took about 5 minutes to get our servers attention for more. If their section was full I would have certainly understood. But it was not. I see potential here with their atmosphere but will try one of the other newer restaurants with my friends when I return.

We decided to go to Creekside to celebrate our 32nd Anniversary. They set up a beautiful table for us. The waiter recommended the Gorgonzola Angus Sirloin. We have ate at a lot of high end restaurants and to tell you the truth this was the BEST MEAL we have ever had and it was at a reasonable price. It was to kill for!!! The service was awesome. For the Merlot wine lovers I would recommend the Velvet Devil, excellent!!!
Thank you Creekside for making our 32nd Anniversay a very special night out for dinner.

Wow. Totally unexpected for Yakima (including the price, however). Entrees were in the mid to upper $20s, which is quite steep for Yakima. However, if the same food was served in a big city, it would command the same price or more. I had the ahi tuna salad based on the strong recommendation of the server... WOW, delicious!! Also, the bread and butter were perfect. The butter is served soft AND is blended with honey. Basically, it is dangerously addictive. This place is great if you want a nice night out with a date.

My friend Mike and I stopped for lunch and had a great meal. We started off with the crab cakes, which were loaded with crab and shrimp. Mike had the Prime rib dip, which he enjoyed. I had the Lobster Poboy, which was more like an open faced lobster roll. It was fantastic and came with onion rings that were awesome. Both sandwiches came with French fries that were tasty as well. Our server was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. Cheers!

I never ate at Sage, but thought I would try Creekside....it was totally worth it! Lots of smiles and pleasantries from staff. The salad was basic with fresh vegies, crisp cucumbers and they even knew not to give me a bowl of ranch (health conscious). The crabcakes were moist and delicious...still not sure whats in the tomato paste but it was a tasty addition. Im not made of money and I can definitely afford to eat here on a regular basis.

Good beer. The Thai Chicken Nachos were a deliciously different take with crispy wontons and a tasty peanut sauce. We went at noon on a Sunday, and they werent busy at all, so service was quick. The bread in the French dip was perfect - crunchy outside and soft on the inside - but the meat wasnt anything special - not bad, just not outstanding. Salmon corn chowder was good. Well be back the next time through Yakima.

For such a beautiful building I was very disappointed. The food was okay but the wait time was terrible! We had reservations for 6:30 and didnt get our food until after 8! Not because of us! A person in our party received his shrimp salad, 5-10 minutes after everyone else had their hot dinners. You had to find the waitress to order refills of drinks. I wouldnt go back!

Was disappointed from the beginning, as we were ushered into the bar area and sat at a high table, when there were booths available in the same area. Then after ordering drinks, it took over 5 minutes to get them. Drinks were expensive ($10 for a double fireball/cranberry). Food tasted good, but wasnt impressed.
