I wanted to grab a burger before I had to go to work so that left me with roughly 45 minutes to grab some food. My party and I ordered and it wasnt to long before our food was out, so that was nice. When we brought the food back to the table 2 of the orders were fine and they messed mine up. I had added cheddar cheese to mine and they forgot to put it on there even though they had charged my the .50 cent charge. I decided that I didnt have enough time to complain about it so I just went on to eat the burger, and after taking the first bite, THE INSIDE WAS STILL COLD & PINK, not just a little pink, pretty much solid though pink and cold. I spit my food out in a napkin and took the burger back to the counter. The lady apologized and said that they would make another one to go for me. I waited back at the table for roughly 20 minutes, but I never heard anything. I went back to the counter and I asked the lady what had happened, the kitchen had either forgotten to remake it or misplaced it. So it would be another 15 minutes for them to make the burger, I told them not to worry about it and that they could just refund me for the $4.95+.50 it cost for the burger. If the other two items in the party didnt come out okay then I would have rated this place a lot lower, but they managed to get something right. I was a bit disappointed they were supposed to have the best burger in town...

Asked for frys extra chrispy, instead they over season it with Susie Qs or something very over powering and they were mushy. The Village burger classic had a bun that was buttered like jack in boxs new butteryjack, sad thing was jack makes a better burger. I rather goto Orcutt burger or king fulaffel and enjoy a real burger and frys and spend half as much.

The food here is amazing literally everything especially the shakes the old village grill has historic background but you have to expect it to get crowded my favorite is the southern western burger it is a daily creation topp it off with a malt shake and some fries ,it cant get any better than that

One of my favorite burger places in the world! Old school burger joint appeal in the historic Arroyo Grande Village. The pastrami burger is the best! Nice people and great food. I wish I still lived down the street but worth a visit every time I come to the Central Coast.

Good place to go and have a quick burger, they have two TVs, serve some bottled beer, have fountain soda, and even milkshakes. Pretty good burgers. I always get the blue cheese burger.
