I made reservations at Bootleggerss for our office holiday dinner party because I knew the decorations would be beautiful, and they did not disappoint. When we arrived I saw what I believed to be our table directly in front of the fireplace (as requested). I was soon advised that the owner had given the table to another party, and there policy was "no tables are guaranteed". I had made my reservations three weeks in advance and was assured on three different ocassions that I would have the table directly in front of the fireplace. I explained this to the hostess and she simply repeated that they dont guarantee tables. I eventually requested to speak to the manager or owner and was told that neither were present, on arguably one of the busiest nights of the year there was no one in charge. She did bring over a server who reiterated that they dont guarantee tables (except that they did). I gave up and asked them to show us to the table they had for us. It was very small and difficult to access on one side (my best guess is that if was comfortably a table for 4 and there were 7 of us). I was extremely disappointed, but needed to move past it and enjoy the evening. Our server was pleasant and even corked 2 bottles of wine at no charge, which I truly appreciated. Our food did take a good while to arrive (but they were busy so no biggie). The skirt steak was very good, unfortunately, the chicken and swordfish dishes were both extremely over cooked. I feel like I let my staff down as this is our one BIG thank you each year and it fell short. I prefer to speak directly on such matters, unfortunately no manager (or anyone in charge) was working.

Not impressed at all with the service. My friend and I went to dinner last Friday, July 10th (she NEVER gets out). I ordered the Mixed Grill, which was a mixture of pork loin, chicken and strip steak w/a sweet chili glaze (delish!). My friend had the Filet Al Bleu with the Garlic Toasted Hoagie (huge disappointment). It was ordered as "well", no pink at all. What she got was borderline medium rare and the hoagie was not up to par. She couldnt eat it and did not want to order anything else after that, or wait. When the server (Heather) came to the table and saw how under cooked it was, she made a comment that it wasnt prepared properly. However, when we asked for our check, she had not removed the sandwich that was barely touched. She offered nothing, not even a different item. I was hesitant to tip at all, but I did enjoy my meal so I left a small tip. Accidents happen, I get that, however, this mistake was not the patrons, it was the restaurants and nothing was asked to make it right. Most reputable companies will immediately rectify the situation and comp the meal, quickly have another item prepared, or at the very least, ask what can be done. None of this happened. She just said "yeah, that didnt come out right", and handed us our bill. I wont return, and I wont recommend this place simply because of the service.

Outdoor seating and allowing my dog to sit with me was my initial attraction. Ordered the Courtney burger off the pub menu. It was prepared medium, perfectly. The avacodo and pico de gallo topping was fresh tasting and enhanced the flavor of the hamburger immensely. Topped off with a Steelhead pale ale and served by a very attentive server named Cameron, I will send my friends and family here. A gold nugget in Auburn gold country!

Food came out cold...and the dishes had no taste. It was a very unsatisfying meal. I felt there were little to no flavors. Had to ask for water more than 3 times. Which was extremely annoying. One of the wine glasses was chipped and was a hazard to even drink out of. The prices do not match the quality of the food. I recommend that this restaurant lower the prices significantly for what the food taste and experiences is worth.

This place is cozy and the food is good. Its a little pricey, but thats expected. The service was good, not outstanding. My favorite part about this place is simply that they burn wood in their fireplace. It gives off a slight aroma as you walk in, but soon it becomes unnoticeable after a few minutes. Most of their tables are 4 seats, but Im sure they can accommodate larger parties too. Overall, a 4-star place

My husband and I have been here twice in the past year. We had a great experience both times. Service is excellent and friendly. Whether you are sitting down in the restaurant for a meal or having a date night at the bar, you wont be disappointed. Atmosphere is inviting, beautiful building and delicious food. Im not ordinarily a huge fan of Mac n cheese, but wow, theirs is incredible!!!

Ive had better steak at Sizzler. Medium rare $30 fillet was a tiny, thin piece of overcooked rubber in a so-so sauce with a few little pieces of vegetable next to it. Waitress was too busy talking with her loud, drunk friends at the next tale to bother with us. Bus staff was friendly and professional. Wont be back. Try Alehouse a few doors down.

This place is a solid 4. I came here to try something new in Auburn and came here. Service was pretty good except for the employees kept going into a squeaky cabinet to get napkins which was located next to me. Food was decent but not worth the money. My dirty french fries were delicious and I would definitely get them again.

Five stars because the staff are always so wonderful to my dad, John, and his 89-year-old girlfriend, Berti. Whenever they stop in for a glass of wine, they are treated like royalty. I appreciate so much the way you make them welcome. I love popping in with the old farts when Im in town for a visit.

Old school vibe, killer food. Food is wonderful with an upscale feel. Sit at the bar for oysters and house cured sausages and stay for dinner. Greg will take care of you like a 5 star establishment. The authentic fireplace doesnt hurt.

The atmosphere seemed off to me. I think it was trying too hard to be really fancy. The food was okay but nothing g I would tell everyone to go eat. Maybe it was an off night but I just wasnt feeling it.

The food is overpriced and just average. Everyone in my party was disappointed in their meal (appetizers, steaks, and prime rib). Good atmosphere. Decent service.
