Yummy. As I understand it, this restaurant is in the process of transforming from a Mexican restaurant to an American style grill, but the name stayed basically Mexican. Everything we ordered was American and it was all pretty good. I had a spinach chicken salad that I enjoyed a lot. The service was really nice and friendly. The tables and chairs were clean. The decor was artsy Mexican with some cool pieces on the wall. The place felt big and bright and was quiet enough to have a conversation. There is seating outside and since traffic is low and has a view of the park, it would be pleasant to eat out there. We enjoyed our meal here, we hope you do too.

Las Castrinas, I used to like this place. Quaint, cool, OK food, good sangria. But, that has now changed. 3 times now they have been closed. The first two times due to private parties - what! This last time, today, on a Saturday, they closed at 2:45 in the afternoon. WHY!!!!. Now I have no faith when they will be open. What is going on? You have lost my business

Racist my daughter and son in law went to your resturant yesterday. We have lived in this area 14 years. My daughter and son in law were made to wait (45 minutes before their order was taken) and watched groups of white people served before them. They should have no star and no customers. Please do not patronize this resturant.

Good American fare with a Mexican twist. Breakfasts are big enough to share so take that into account when looking at the prices. Burgers and sandwiches are also good and the ambiance is nice and mellow, with flat screens to keep the Dads entertained watching the game. Try the Mimosas, their fancy!

Had a tuna sandwich. It was delicious. Will go again :) Excellent service and nearby. Brought up the scale of the evergreen square. The only issue is that it replaced by an already great restaurant. I do miss the mexican food but it was pretty great!

The food is excellent. The menu is well-thought out, and the food prepared expertly and well. The service is every bit as good as the food: friendly, helpful, and efficient. This is fast becoming one of my favorite places to eat.

Came here for breakfast- food was good and with really large portions. Staff was also friendly and attentive, my coffee was almost always full =) Its great to finally have a breakfast diner in this neighborhood.

My favorite breakfast spot! Wonderful food, attentive wait staff - coffee cup is always filled, generous portions. Order the Super Mimosa. Yummy! Clean, cheery, and great neighborhood restaurant.

American/brunch food. This restaurant use to be a Mexican place. Great for groups since it has the space for it. Nothing really pops out here. If you live in the area, it is a convenient brunch spot.

The only waitress was sweet (Wednesday 10am) ... Sadly I was not impressed with the food. I got the Santa Cruz Benedict and it was drenched in hollandaise sauce. It over powered the entire dish

Great food generous portions and extensive menu. They serve breakfast all day. The ambiance is very pleasant with plenty of seating, and location is great. They also have a happy hour.
