Came here to celebrate my dads birthday on a Tuesday night. We made a reservation for 5 but it was rather empty. This is my only complaint about my meal here: We were seated at a booth towards the back of the restaurant. Once we got to the booth, my brother helped his gf take off her coat. He struggled a little bit and I watched as the hostess ROLLED HER EYES and then gave off a fake little smile and laugh. I thought that was a bit rude. I guess she was getting impatient with them but to roll her eyes at them is kinda unacceptable. And thats where my complaints end about the service because our server, Chad, was AWESOME! He explained everything on the menu very well and gave us his recommendations since he knew it was our first time there. He was very attentive and checked on us every so often to make sure everything was 100%. Chad made our visit very pleasurable. Its been a while since weve gotten service like that. Cocktails: I ordered the blood orange cosmopolitan and it was so good that I ordered round 2 of the same thing. You can tell they didnt try to trick you with the alcohol because the second one I had had a very strong alcohol taste. It was delicious though and I made a very smart choice. My dad ordered the California Sidecar and it was also very good for whiskey lovers. Chad even burnt the orange peel at our table to show his finesse. Their Moscow Mule is supposedly the 2nd best in the city so I will have to try that next time I am here. I thought the coolest thing about their cocktail menu was that everything was made in California, all the beer was Cali brewed, all the wines were from Cali. It was pretty cool. Now for the food: Appetizers: We ordered the deviled eggs with bacon, the crab cakes, and the chicken wings. The winner of the three were the chicken wings. They were smoked instead of spiced and it gave them a unique flavor that you cant find anywhere else. You can skip the deviled eggs, they werent special and didnt have as much flavor as I had hoped. The crab cakes were pretty good, and came with some arugula on the side. They were pretty flavorful and I really liked them but they were a bit pricey. Entrees: I think the winner at our table was their RIBS. They were spicy but they were also very flavorful and juicy. Definitely the best ribs Ive found in the Bay Area. I ordered the Dry Creek Meatloaf and it was a HUGE portion. I was surprised when I was able to finish it all but it was also very good. The bacon that was wrapped around it made it the best. Dessert: We got a complimentary dessert for my dads bday which was cheesecake which apparently was tasty. I ordered the apple crisp on the side and it wasnt anything special. I think I would pass on it next time. Overall: Chad made our visit the best. I loved their food and their cocktail menu. I loved the ambience and environment as well. We will definitely be back, as long as Chad is our server!

Good things first: visually upscale, great cocktails and good food. Our beef filet was cooked perfectly and was tender and delicious. Mixed BBQ was dry but had good flavors. On to the not so good. The wait staff was generally friendly and helpful but less than attentave and uninformed about specials and product availability. Guests with long legs will want to avoid the booths which have nearly vertical backs, shallow benches, and narrow tables. My knees extended past the midpoint of the table, which would make it awkward to sit across from someone six ft or taller. While the tables are more comfortable, our chairs sagged in the middle. Interior furnishings with dark woods add to the visual appeal; however, screaming locals at the bar and the bombastic home theater like sound system contradict the upscale appearance. While the food was good, it did not represent good value for money; better can be had in this area area for less. To top things off, there is literally no parking. All available spots in front of or near the restaurant are reserved for the bank and health club, so guests must park 150 or so yards away in the drug store parking lot. With a few small changes and better waitstaff training, Dry Creek could be great. I personally wont be back until things improve.

It was an awful experience. We received gift cards for this restaurant, and then one of them didnt work and he let me know its a known issue with gift cards from Costco, but that we need to get it figured out with the retailer that sold it. Well it was a gift, and they offered no recourse or assistance, letting us know that we were completely on our own, we need to go back to the person who gave it to us, get them to return it if they still have the receipt, and then we could then go back and use the gift card a second time. Management kept repeating this was all they could do for me, even though they literally did nothing for me. Food was fine but for a BBQ focused restaurant the meat was incredibly dry. Spoke with two managers and both were incredibly unhelpful and rude. Claim that because an outside vendor gave us the certificates, they have no way of tracking it, even though Ive never encountered this issue with any other establishment that is working with Costco. Its upsetting that you can buy a gift card, and the company has no way of tracking it. So before you buy something thinking its as good as cash here, understand if theres any issues they will completely leave you out to dry. Seems like a huge scam to me.

This has become somewhat of a regular for my wife and I, when we have the opportunity to have a date night without the kids. The restaurant in a little hidden from the street and could be hard to see. The outside has comfortable seating surrounding a couple of fire pits (nice on a cool night). Inside is very nice. On a busy night, it can be pretty loud. It has a full bar with plenty of seating. We noticed that there is also a stage and what looks like a dance floor, but every time we have been here, they had tables on the dance floor. I am assuming on some nights they might have a live band. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable and very accommodating when it comes to special requests. We have been to Dry Creek several time, and I have tried a few items of their menu. My favorite is the Bacon-wrapped Meat Loaf with garlic mashed potatoes, a wonderful BBQ sauce and glazed carrots (picture added). It is a large portion of meat loaf, so I usually eat half and have leftovers the next day for lunch. On our last visit, my wife got the Pappardelle pasta and added grilled salmon and she loved it (picture added). I also really like the Slow Braised Short Ribs.

The food I would give 2 stars, maybe 3. But the experience and service was so bad I cant recommend this place to anyone. When we had an issues, they said the manager was going to speak with us, but instead, a sommelier (Mark Gonzales) came to talk to us instead and offered no help. My issue was not with wine selection, but a gift card that they said didnt work. He told us he would give us the owners email (his offer), but then came back to only give us the General Managers card and said hed call us tomorrow. Its bad enough the issue cant be resolved right away, but we had to pay an extra $50 for it AND wait until the next day to speak to someone. When the GM (Bobby Quintong) called - it was the most unprofessional conversation. He did not help us and acted in a way im sure the owners would not be proud of. Not everyone there is bad, there were servers that were nice and fine. Just pray you dont run into any issues because they will leave you out to dry. Or at least Bobby and Mark will while cussing you out.
