I have been coming to this place for sweets for many years now and on average it has been good. After 2 years away from fremont i decided to come in for non sweets their chooley patoorey. I must say they were delicious almost as good as my mom makes. The reason it is 3 stars and not 4-5 is because i ordered ras malai after reading it was made fresh DAILY..... Im not sure what that truly means as i was served rancid ras malai it was sour when i told the man at the register he went back to tell either his wife or mom about our complaint who then came out looked at some the other containers that were sitting in the fridge and proclaimed we were mistakenly given an old batch and then brought out a newer batch needless to say it tasted exactly the same sour and rancid. I really didnt appreciate her lieing to my face when she said it was fresh made when i saw her pull it from the same stack of pre-filled boxes as her son/husband did. At least she didnt charge me for it otherwise this would be getting 2 stars or even 1. Please remove your sign that says made fresh daily as it is a complete lie everyone should know that you only make it maybe once a week and store it to be sold.

I usually buy the ras malai from here as it is one of my favorite mithai - this past Sunday March 29th I was in to oick up some. I asked for a large container $20 so I went to pay with my debit card and the man behind the counter asks me for cash - i advised him there was a sign which said minimum purchase with card was $10 - $20 SHOULD HAVE BEEN FINE but then my sister ended up paying cash on my behalf. Anyway I get home on Sunday evening looking forward to eating my ras malai, only to find it is off. The milk was sour and just terrible. I call to speak to the owner only to find that they are in india - so now I am out of pocket by $20 and no ras malai - so angry and top it off I dont leave in Fremont, so I drove nearly 45 mins away just for this dessert. Not satisfied at all

We came to know about Lovely sweets through our friends. The discussion was that I havent found a place for good Indian sweets. Well, I have tried the Ras Malai and Kalakand and it was instant moksha. The next time we tried the Paranthas and the kids and palate achieved yet another enlightenment. Pinky is a gracious host. They make in small quantities but the quality is par excellence!. Keep up the good work Lovely Sweets serving us lost foodies. :)

Very rude staff and very unhygenic food. I brought sweets( barfi) and it tasted sour like it has been made for past weeks. The front desk people are very rude and food is served in very unhygenic conditions. Please dont go to this place. I prefer Raja Sweets or Kabila sweets. Their sweets are much better tastewise than these people plus their serving and place is very hygenic. I wish i could give no star to these people.

this place has the best food in Fremont. Very Delicious. Their thali is what I love most, its just like homemade food, they give homemade rotis or paranthas. Feel good not like the other restaurant food that makes you feel extremely full and heavy. thali also has raita, you feel like you are eating at home and at the same time its spicy too and the menu changes. The people are friendly and customer-oriented.

The sweets dont taste good and the people there always treat the customers with rude attitude. The sweets are not fresh and they use quite a few artificial colors for the look and they have to be inspected for their use of chemicals for colors. The prices are too high for a pound of sweets considering the kind of sweets they make which are not edible. The worst and Never go to this worst shop.

This is by far the best Indian cuisine I have had. Ive only tried about 5 restaurants in my life, but this one takes the cake. The food is fresh and delicious, and wonderful. The sweets are good too, I have nothing to compare them to because Ive only tried theirs, but as someone that is new to Indian cuisine, this place is truly lovely.

Delicious food that is prepared fresh. Not a big varied menu, but to eat a satisfying north indian home cooked food, this is the place to go. They alao sell freshly preapared indian sweets, my favorite here is Rasmalai & Gulab Jamoon.

Dont ever buy "RAS MALAI" from this place. We bought it twice and both times it was SOUR and almost going BAD. Seems like it was made few days ago and they were trying to sell it off rather then throwing it away. BE CAREFUL.

I dont eat sweets. The food is great. Best chole´ (garbanzo beans) I have found anywhere. Great roti of different kinds. Excellent for breakfast. Diner atmosphere.

I bought Ras Malai and I got an old and bad one. It tasted bitter and was nasty. Definitely do not recommended this place.
