I was on my way to work and thought I would stop to pick up lunch early. The owner is the guy who helped me and I ordered a burrito. When I found out the price of the burrito, (costs extra for the meat) I decided to change my order to something else. The owner did not have the patience to wait on me so he told me to make up my mind do I want the burrito or not. He was not a happy camper I can tell you that. This was my first time there and the last. I heard the food was good that is why I topped by. But with service like that, I can do with out. And I was leaving, I asked a worker there want the guys name was and he said that the guy that was helping you is the owner.

This is the worst restaurant I have eaten at out of the 100+ that I tried in the past year - wished I went to Taco Bell instead and saved $40. The food is awfully bland and 2/3 bean & rice fillers. The worst was the soup, which was literally chicken broth with one large chunk of potato, carrot, meat each. Lazy cook couldnt cut food smaller than the size of your fist. The 4 & 5 stars reviews are from their old patrons since they have been around for many years.

I have been coming to this family owned restaurant for years..the food is delicious I love their beans with cheese,breakfast is awesome too..the waitresses are always nice and patient..and you can count on the owners to always greet you with a warm smile..I hope this place sticks around I will definitely be coming back

Nothing fancy, just good comfort food. My family has been dining here since we moved to the area in the mid 70s, and it has been consistently good food with great service through the decades. A great place for a casual family dinner.

Are you kidding me, BEST menudo anywhere. I live in Lexington, Kentucky and travel back home to visit family yearly, I Always make it a point to go to La Milpa. They would do Great here in Lexington!!!

A great hole in the wall mom and pop restaurant. La Milpa has been here possibly as long as Milpitas. Order anything you like. Itll be great. Service is very fast at lunchtime too.
