My husband and i went to this place to have Valentines Day breakfast, when we arrived the waitress put three menus,we waited to asked the order, my husband ask the waitress if she can take it, and she answerd, i thought you guys were waiting for a third person we say no, she were rude with us. When our food were ready she put the order and the ticket on our table, she never came back to ask if we were fined, she was taking with the busboy and saying bad words in Spanish,my husban needed to ask for coffe to the busboy instead of the waitress. The food from this restaurant is really good but the service is not good at all.I got in to this restaurant to pay for my food not asked for free!

I was invited to this place by a coworker. I ordered the ham breakfast which came with eggs and hash browns. Man was this plate good. The eggs were real eggs, not like the eggs that come from a carton like at Dennys or other breakfast places. The ham was fresh and tasty. The hash browns were also fresh and real, not like something that was frozen and thrown on a pan like other breakfast places do. The plate was served with a fresh green salsa on the side. That was a pleasant bonus. The staff was friendly and fast to serve you. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. I have found this place to be the best breakfast place so far.

A friend recommended this place for breakfast and it did not disappoint! Big traditional breakfasts with sides like biscuits and gravy available. I had eggs with thick cut bacon, and they cooked it soft just as I asked. My husband got the linguica and eggs his friend had suggested and said it was superb. They also have various buffalo dishes on the menu and of course a mounted buffalo head and a jackalope. We plan to make this a regular breakfast spot and will be back to try lunch, too.

Why does this place have 4 stars?? Its horrible food.. I came here in hopes of good biscuits and gravy. Nope. Coffee sucks, gravy bland, my partner gets sliced American cheese on his omelet, eggs were browned on outside, whites not cooked, chicken fried steak was not great at all... Honestly deserves 3 stars, but Im giving 1 to balance the 4.4 star rating..... I never rate food places, but this place food deserves an honest rating.. Ugh.. Service was good tho

Called to get some info, was met with attitude from the rude lady that answered the phone, then was hung up on, tried calling back and was cussed at then told her i wanted a manager and was hung up on again. Tried again and they turned the phone off because it went straight to voice mail over and over every time i tried to call again.

Maybe its just me, but the food tastes the same as any other diner. The food experience is equivalent as Dennys, IHOP, and the other similar diners. A nice place though to sit down and fill up on food before a long day of work. Its not the greatest or healthiest food, but it gets the job done I guess :/

This is a solid greasy spoon diner. Delicious French toast. The biscuits and gravy are just okay- gravy has too much flour and is too thick. Husband really enjoys the corned beef hash. Coffee is just okay. The service is great! Respect East Side San Jose.

The wait is a little long but only because of the multitude of people. The food is very good with decent portions but definitely not particularly healthy. Overall, I had a good experience and this place makes for a good weekend breakfast.

Great breakfast - good food, huge portions - and interesting decor with all kinds of Western junk on the walls. The photos of customers show this is a place people love and come back to. Well certainly make it a regular breakfast place.

Would be 5 stars but its just so expensive. Breakfast for just below $20...insane. Yet I go back often. Urg! I LOVE their Verde salsa, on everything. Biscuits and Gravy are on point (gravy is like $4, on top of your order)

Dear god, what is in that green chili sauce? I put it on everything - the biscuits and gravy, the chicken fried steak, the corned beef hash... its addictive. I would go there just for that.

Small & Low Key for a comfy humble crowd. Come to eat breakfast/mexi/cali food and go home. No atmosphere frills, all the charm is with the great server staff, who work very hard.
