Rock Japanese Cuisine - Dec 18th The ventures for a after Congee snack before dinner. Satisfying the craving with sushi and a delight. Came by this place for a lunch session, and it wasn’t bad. As you walk up to the place it’s at the corner, and the door is on the side. Came here mid-day on a Sunday at approximately 2PM and got seated pretty quickly. There was no wait so there was no issues with that and got offered a water on the get go. Ordered the bento box and it seemed to be pretty good with value for $15 dollars. Tried the Mango Spider Roll and liked the texture of the tobiko with the avocado. Thought the Mango was a little too sweet. Also had the Jay Roll and the hamachi was fresh and flavorful. Other Notes: -Wings were pretty typical and just fried -Gyoza was crisp

Rock JC wins on food. Big healthy sushi portions. Very attentive and kind waitstaff. Great fish quality, and rice was supple and well balanced flavor. The four star rating is a ding because the interior decor which is bland and feels more like a hallway because of the tile floor. An easy fix would be painting the wall behind the sushi bar a bit darker and cleaning a bit more. Music level is nice, low, but could easily be themed to match better. More thought put into the decor and this place would truly rock.

This placed "Rocked" (pun intended)! They had great service! The waitresses and waiters were fast and on top of things. They definitely took care of everyone equally and didnt leave anyone waiting or ignored. The food was freaking awesome! The white rice was perfect "sticky" rice! I ordered the Beef teriyaki thats served with white rice, vegetables and a house salad! Everything was cooked good and delicious! Service was great! Food was great! And people were great!

Came here with a co-worker one day and was happy to receive a free bowl of Miso Soup when I sat down that tasted amazing. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki, because I dont like sushi, and loved it so much that the following evening I returned and ordered it again. The staff is nice and the waitress recognized me, even though I was alone this time, and offered me extra Teriyaki sauce when she saw me dumping the remainder on my plate into my side of rice.

The food is alright. It reflects how much it cost. Lunch box $8.95 The waitress is mute, if shes not mute then she chooses to communicate only through nodding and split second long smiles so do not go into this restaurant in hopes of getting normal human interaction. Location is pretty decent. No wait line during lunch hour.

Waiters attentive but took forever to get sushi that was ordered, even when restaurant was nearly empty. Sushi was good, though. Beware if you get thirsty, no free refills of any drink except water. Good view outside of the crowds below you. Free miso soup at beginning and free small serving of ice cream at end of meal.

The sushi and gyoza were mediocre and disappointing, but the chicken katsu and teriyaki chicken were pretty good. There are better options (which explains the three stars), but the price isnt terrible and you can survive on the options mentioned above.

Okay,so I order a California Roll,I didnt look at what is the ingredients,BUT GUESS WHAT there was imitation crab which made me VOMIT my whole meal!!!! its good service, but just dont order the CALIFORNIA ROLL!!!!

Loved it! Excelent service and food :) had the rock box n got shrimp tempura, with ckn teriyaki and salad n rice n it was so good :) the salad dressing its amazing! Definitely coming back to this place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had the deluxe special with unagi, tuna, salmon, hamachi and some others. Fish tasted decent, and price was alright. Green tea ice cream and fried cheesecake didnt have much taste though.

By far the worst sushi I have ever had. Appetizers came out one by one after the meal. The sushi rolls were mess and oddly shaped, service was bad and bathroom was disgusting. Dont go!!!

The food was downright amazing l, and the service was incredible. The waitress was such a sweetheart that we got free ice cream at the end of our meal. This place is truly a gem.

Alaska roll, I.H. roll, Lion King roll and Spicy tuna rolls were on tap and they were delicious! Staff was friendly and they gave the kids some ice cream after dinner.

The sushi here is incredible. Staff is always extremely accommodating. Lastly, theres a nice view of the streets outside if youre into people watching while you eat.
