I am so lucky to live around the corner from Swagat because this is hands down my favorite place to eat this side of the Bay Bridge and in my top 3 favorite restaurants of all time. The food is redicuously good. I eat here at least once a week. Speaking from a vegan stand point, there is plenty to eat. The mixed curry veggies are so good its stupid! I spend on average $30 for both my girlfriend and I. We do the buffet and usually mango juice. The service is really good as well. They are always so polite and making sure that you are happy with your experience at Swagat. Once in a great while they have live music. Nothing better than eating to the beat of a Tabla! Thank you Swagat for being so awesome!

Definitely one of my favorite, if not most favorite, spots for an Indian buffet. Unlike some restaurants, they serve their buffet 7 days a week. And Saturday and Sunday is usually a little more expansive. They offer lots of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. And while there are a few mainstays, they also rotate a couple of items so you dont necessarily have to eat the same food on each visit. Ive had their made to order items as well and they are equally tasty. They do serve Dosa, which is not easily found in this area.

I have enjoyed Swagats immensely and have never gotten anything bad there. If I did Id let them know. Ive had friends tell me about a great Indian restaurant and they tell me its Swagats in Concord. I have to agree. Ive been in several Indian restaurants and always come back here to eat. The only thing I wish they would have was the Chai Tea on the buffet counter, then that would be the bomb.

Eating here is a mostly good experiance. Eating at the resturant worked out well. All in all it was a good experiance. But they dont seem to understand how to take an order down. Every time I have ordered to go, they repeat the order back to me perfectly; then when I pick up the order its always wrong. Poor comunication. But on the plus-side, their mango lassi are the best I have EVER had.

Flavorful--very flavorful and I love the creamy butter lamb/chicken.theyre so kind& accomodating&FAST SERVICE!!!&cleaner compared to a few spots Ive hit up. In my opinion, this is TOP in town!--Oh and buffet style opens 11a-3p and reopens at 5pm for Dinner(order a la carte). Weekends they offer buffet for dinner also. Mango lassi is too sweet thou. Other than that they are gooooood!

I ate hear for lunch. It was pretty good. I enjoyed the food. We ordered the dosa combo that came with other things. To top it off I had a mango lassie to go with the meal. We also ordered veggie pakora mix. Which were pretty good. Especially with the chutney they provided. The portion was very filling. I was completely full after indulging in my meal.

“Good service!” I have never been to this chain restaurant but thought I would meet a few friends there for drinks and dinner. We were seated promptly and the service was attentive but brisk. After a few cocktails and an order of the Crispy Wings, we ordered dinner. I had their Slow Braised Lamb Shank, and my friends ordered the Ahi Tuna,...

After 23hours....3 flights .....35hrs of travel, what else one want than a splendid Indian cuisine sway from India. I absolutely relished the food on my first night in San Francisco at this place, chicken was very good, so was tandoor and so was the vegetarian plate. Go for it for delicate ,less fiery indian food in US.

Great food but unfortunately they change their tips after youve paid with your card. We used to order pickup frequently and leave a small tip even though we were just picking up our food but we had discovered they were tipping themselves 15 percent or more after I checked my bank statements. We wont be returning.

Authentic cuisine. Family-friendly, service animal friendly, great environment. Parking was close and plentiful. We got here at 9pm and still got good service and yummy food. Update: came back this weekend for the buffet, a great sampling of their menu for $14. We left stuffed and very happy.

My favorite restaurant in Concord on salvio street right across from Brenden Theater. For many years I have gone to Swaggart Indian restaurants. They have a goat Curry that I love. And they have buffeted every day 7 days a week. Go try it out. You will like it. That if you like I Indian food..

Their food is authentic and you can always count on an amazingly flavorful meal. The buffet is the best ever! Weve been coming here for many years and it has set our bar high for Indian food. We appreciate that we are always welcome as family. Prepare yourself for a feast!

I always come during lunch time and the food here is fresh and consistently refilled. Even though its a buffet, the workers will never let your glass of water get fully empty. And their desserts are to die for. The gulab jamun is warm and melt in your mouth delicious.

Thumbs on for serving us at 8:30pm on a Sunday. Food was good, plenty and delivered fast. Staff was caring for us and didnt show any pressure for us to leave even they officially closed (they actually asked us for a dessert).

Reasonable prices, every review recommends butter chicken, well TRY IT! Buffet selection not very big but you have a choice of a menu as well. Decor somewhat lacks little. Planty of parking better than any fast food!

The buffet is one of the best Indian buffets Ive eaten. The price is great too. The food is on the spicier side so dont forget the napkins. Pretty authentic and close to what restaurants taste like in India.

A lot of food selections but it takes a while to replenish the food. It can be noisy and crowded. When we asked what the entree was the person replenishing the food couldnt tell us.

I come here for past 10 years and always get the best treatment. Today they made me a special dish for me which was not on the menu. Recommend to come here for both lunch and dinner.

One of the best places in Concord and Walnut Creek to find original and traditional Indian food. The place is clean, service is great, food is amazing, everything is delicious!!! :p

Greasy Spoon...yes, good service but buffet was through and through dripping with oil and too much salt. Many staples tandoori chicken were dripping with oil and over seasoned.

Not terribly fancy, which is fine given the price point (quite cheap), with a somewhat family-oriented atmosphere (good thing?). Food not so great, but definitely edible.

My first review...Worst food... Indian people can easily sense that theyre serving day or two days old food...u can even smell rotten vegetable smell in food...

Our favorite Indian place. Weve been going there for years. Goat curry, interesting vegetable dishes. Standard buffet favourites like butter chicken too.
