2 words: Salty Dog. It is not officially on their menu or at least wasnt when we began going here but it is seriously the best thing Ive ever had to drink. We get them iced with soy milk and they are delicious ever single time. We accidentally found this place on our way to the Hillcrest farmers market one Sunday morning because we could literally smell the coffee from down the street. I had work training in the area a few months back and would stop by for my morning coffee- just a standard drip coffee that I added my cream and sugar to but the coffee is strong and delicious and aromatic and just so excellent. The seating area hiding behind the counter is very peaceful and lovely as well and the seats in front always offer some choice people watching. The entire establishment is also very dog friendly which is a huge plus. Every single employee has been kind and helpful and just so darn friendly and its just so refreshing. I cant say enough great things about Industrial Grind. Just go!!

Same fare as the other locations but with much more basic interior which will surely find its fans in this area (nearby is Eye of the Buddha, etc). For a nicer, newer version its worth walking a few blocks down University Avenue to their newest shop. Most importantly coffee is great and the staff is helpful and enthusiastic. Try The Crucible for a tasty, extra caffeinated beverage - its coffee with added espresso for extra flavor and potency. Really good cup of coffee.

This is my go to coffee shop. The staff is friendly and fast! The owners, Kathy and Barb, are retired veterans and really committed to quality. They roast their coffee in small batches. Yes, its a little pricier than some chain stores, but I believe in supporting local and our veterans. I only drink one cup in the morning to get me started and I want that coffee to be something special. This is the place for that.

I love this place. They roast their own coffee beans. Menu covers the all the specialties. Wide range of good plain ole java ... which I prefer. Bold or smooth, they are excellent. Service is super friendly. A place where everybody at least tries to know your name. I have found many new friends over a cup here. Customers feel comfortable & smile alot. Great atmosphere here. A+

I had small soy latte. I would rate it better than average. I like Influx one better but this one is pretty good. There was not enough espresso flavor yet it tasted pretty good (miles better than starbucks thats for sure). But the price is sort of steep. Almost $5 with a tip for rather small latte. I guess I should invest into a good burr grinder for my own lattes.

Dog friendly! I love taking my dogs here on days off. They always provide water for the little ones. The baristas are friendly and welcoming. I like the vibe here- classic San Diego. Patio style wood settings. The coffee is decent, good iced coffee. But their shine comes from their vegan baked goods. I cant get over how moist and delicious their banana bread is.

I went during the Gilmore Girls event. The servers were really friendly and I wish I could have spent more time there. They did a great job pulling it off. They were out of the vegan treat (they carry one) and would love to hear if they have more options. They did have alternative milk for my coffee, such was a plus.

Bought a regular cup of House Blend Coffee there this morning. The atmosphere was outstanding coffee was outstanding and the Patriots was outstanding. Truly enjoyed myself better than being at Starbucks will come again

Tiny little "shack" along the sidewalk on Park Blvd that produces a mean espresso. Not a ton of chairs if you want to stick around, but great for grab and go. Some of the best tasting coffee in the area.
