Moniker Coffee is my all time favorite San Diego coffee shop. Not even just San Diego, its my favorite coffee spot ever. The vibes inside are so good, the furniture is amazing, and the coffee is incredible every single time. Perfect flavor, perfect temperature, love every coffee Ive tried so far. If youre not in the mood for coffee you can walk 5 feet around the bar and order a draft beer from 32 North Brewing Co. (which is also super yummy!) The wide open space is really refreshing to come hang out or get some work done and its inside of Moniker General which is a really awesome store space with some premium goods. Also, the baristas and staff are so friendly and knowledgable. Great space in a perfect location with best coffee in San Diego - highly recommend!

PROS: - Friendly atmosphere; friendly service - Variety of seating (bar, tables, high tables) - "For here" drinks are served in cool paraphernalia (my iced drink came in a steel tumbler) - Shop is shared with Moniker General Retail store - Patio seating (giant picnic-style bench) - Outdoor seating (which is technically part of Liberty Public Market) - They sell "Moniker Coffee Co" paraphernalia CONS: - Small menu? Not exactly a con I guess, but I was hoping for more flavors to try? - If youre wanting to study/work here with your laptop, there are only a few outlets I saw. MY RECOMMENDATIONS: - Cold Brew - Iced Salted Caramel Latte

Okay, this space is totally beautiful and Ive never met happier or more friendly employees. I spent a Friday at Moniker working for upwards of 5 hours with my partner. We had drip coffee, espresso, a waffle, a scone, an iced latte, an iced Americano, and a cold brew. That seems like a lot of caffiene now that Im listing it all out but the staff was really appreciative and expressed that they like people who come and get comfortable in the space, enjoy the coffee, and relax. The product was all superb - certainly comparable to Blue Bottle, Go Get Em, Intelligencia, etc. Love this place!

Unique concept store with clothing/furniture/gear store, coffee shop and wonderful patio. I only tried the coffee that was very good, and I tell you it is not often you can tell the coffee is very good

Beautiful spot! Drinks arent the best (especially for the price...) but gorgeous space with tons of natural lighting. They leave all their doors open always so it can be chilly on cold/windy days

Nice&cozy atmosphere :) Chai Latte with cinnamon powder is a good option for the cold weather. Waffle is very chewy. But theres limited dessert options. No sandwiches. Open place and pet friendly.

Best coffee in San Diego. Everything is made in house and the people are very nice. Awesome coffee bar, my favorite is the salted Carmel latte (chilled). They have awesome coffee cups too!

Open Air! tons of natural light. Bring a light layered jacket as it can get breezy inside randomly, but overall the staff is mega friendly, happy, and they pour a real nice cup of coffee
