My bf and I had stumbled upon this joint and decided to give it a go. From the outside it looked like a hole in the wall (which caught our attention bc those are typically the best spots) ! We walked in and everything was just so clean and the atmosphere was so diverse. The staff greated us and were very friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable as well and you can see the cooks preparing your food in the back. It was such a fast, fresh, and friendly experience. Not to mention the food was delicious! We will definitely be going back !!!! (:

One day me and my husband drove down fulton ave. because we needed to drop in at Lexus which was down the street but we wanted to eat first. Lots of little shops but fish and chips sounded okay. Turns out this is really the best hole in the wall for fish and chips! everything is fresh!!! and very light crispy taste! not heavy greasy like some places. Even though we live quite away from here when we want fish we will drive the distance!

Best fried fish in Sacramento. The cole slaw is heavenly. Our cod was fried to perfection and one order of fries on the side is good for 2 people. The fries were hot and perfect...better than McDonalds. The side order of chicken strips was less than stellar. Service was excellent. This is the go to place in Sacramento for fish and chips and other fried seafood. Ocean has been here for 16 years.

They were so great. We showed up 10 mins to closing, and they were obviously shutting down. They prepared out order for take out which we wanted. Really great. we tipped them well. Only issue is we only got one ordered of mushroom and we 2, but it was really close to closing. Really good though. Cant complain. Gonna go back earlier LOL.

Portions of fish were slightly smaller than expected for per the menu price, however the cooking quality is well above what is expected for a whole in the wall fish shop. The breading was just right not too heavy and no where close to greasy. I would be willing to return to this establishment to resolve my fish and chips craving in the future.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years and love the food. The owners are very awesome people that make me feel at home. The food is always good. I usually go here every time I need to shop at the Target around the corner. Which is often. Want great fish, this is the place to go.

Fish & chips places are all pretty similar. The food and service here is good like most places. The portion size I would say is a bit smaller than most but not too significant. One thing different is the cocktail sauce which is a lot spicier than most places and it was very good.

They are sooo kind and friendly, great service good people. Fish was perfect even better than some much more expensive places. Homemade coleslaw and clam chowder umm umm delicious. Fries served hot and fresh. I really enjoyed dining there. My new spot

I got the two piece fish meal and let me tell you, the fish is awesome. It is not greasy, and is super crisp. One of the best fried fish I have had in a long time. The owners were very friendly as well. So good!
