Let me preface this by saying the server was phenomenal and in no way is a reflection of the service she provided me and my family. That being said, this rating is because of the food. Im not sure if it was a new cook, if Red Lobster changed recipes or what happened, but virtually everything except the biscuits and coconut shrimp were aweful. My family and I are suckers for cheese sticks so we ordered some for an appetizer. They were cooked just fine and came out hot, but had absolutely ZERO flavor. I would have enjoyed microwaving a string cheese more than that appetizer. And the marinara dipping sauce seriously tasted like it came straight out of a can of Rague. Continuing on, the garden salad was fine - not great, but average. For my main dish I ordered a parmesan crusted tilapia with fries and zucchini and squash. My fish was literally half cooked (and I HATE sushi), so they cooked another one (still didnt taste that good, semi-edible but would not order again), my zucchini and squash were tasteless, couldnt even finish it, but the fries were fine My mom and dad both had coconut shrimp which, I admit, was very good and I typically order that but wanted to try something new. My grandmother who was joining us had some type of fried shrimp that may as well have come straight from the freezer section of Raleys also with zero taste. But again, our server was great in spite of the food. The atmosphere was good, they werent that busy. If I actually do go back it wont be any time soon. Good service is a positive thing, but terrible good outweighs the service on this one. Its a shame too because I do love their biscuits.

I doubt that my review will be posted, but these are my findings: My note to your establishment is: Welcome to the business of deceitfulness. No online info about your prices, No way to go into your restaurant to get a menu (with prices)to take home and peruse. I know that I am not the only one very upset about this happening in several restaurants, but we just will not eat there anymore. We need to know how much it will cost for a couple or a family before going in and sitting down. Of course that is why you dont give us the choice before we come in, because people come in, sit down and are embarrassed to get up and walk out, so they just sit there and order and pay. Well, several of us have a little more control of our lives and dont have to play the game. I am so ashamed the way we are getting (DECEITFUL), in America. I just returned from Europe and the restaurants list their prices and days menu on a chalkboard outside (including the prices) & Lo and behold, they are packed. I personally hope that all of you restaurants that are so deceitful find your business going down the drain. There seems to be NO care about the customers.......Oh, well....signed, One in a million. How does that sound?

I havent been to Red Lobster in a long time and was so disappointed and embarrassed when I brought my mother here. The food was horrible and me being a huge Seafood connoisseur I know good food from bad food. What made it even worse was the service. I mean it took a good 10 minutes to find my waiter again to tell him that he never brought my son any utensils to open his crab. Then he still didnt return with them and after five minutes I had to tell another waitress and another section that we are still waiting on crab utensils. By the time he got them it his crab was cold. The waiter was MIA for almost the entire meal. Not only was the food and service bad, but some of the customers there are pretty disgusting too. I had my granddaughter with me in a highchair and we kept the area clean. There were two other families that had babies in highchairs and they let their babies throw food all over the floor. I mean how disgusting of a person are you that you think its okay to throw food on the floor because somebody else should pick it up . Maybe thats why the service is so bad because maybe the employees are unhappy with their jobs because of disgusting customers.

Lynsey was absolutely the best. Im very picky about steak, and Im not a fan of seafood (we were here for my partners birthday), so I tried the New York Strip. I cant deal with tendons and the like and Ive been cursed to always get grisly steaks; last night was no different. Thats not to say anything about their steak. The woman across from us had steak and it looked like it cut like butter. I just always happen to get the one bad cut. But Lynsey and the manager were so gracious and caring that they swapped my steak for some grilled salmon. I was hesitant because I dont like that "fishy" taste, but the salmon was grilled so perfectly and was so fresh and delicious that I immediately devoured the whole thing. The zucchini and squash were great as well and they do this salt crust on their baked potato that is just fantastic. But I cant speak enough to Lynsey and the way she took care of us. I dont think Ive ever had a better server at this or any other restaurant. She is a gem, and this particular establishment should know how fortunate it is to have her on staff. Thank you Lynsey for making this birthday dinner one of the best ones ever!

Ive eaten here twice in a year and a half. The first time I ordered the fish and chips..it was a big slab of fish, breaded, and overcooked. It was terrible. The second time was a couple weeks ago. I ordered the shrimp pasta with steak. The steak was cooked well but was cold, it was the only thing I ate. The potatoes were hard and cold, and the pasta was NOT cooked that day. It was also cold along with the white sauce and shrimp. The waitress/bartender was nice but she could tell I wasnt eating anything so her solution was to ask me if I wanted more sauce on the pasta as it looked dry...so Im paying over $20 for this plate, the waitress KNOWS its cold and uncooked, and she offers more of the same instead of changing the order, maybe not charging me for crappy food, or something else other than more cold food.. I was so mad I didnt even say anything, paid my bill, and left. Took me two weeks to post something. I will never go back to this Red Lobster. Its absolutely terrible.

They charge as thouvh they are fine dining, but the quality of the food is terrible. The best part of my meal was the cheesey biscuits they serve for free as a starter. Their dinner salad that came with the meal was pathetic and their clam chowxer tasted like it came from a can. Seriously, it tasted like Campbells clam chowder. The crab was decent and their calamari was not very good at all. Maybe Im just used to eating Seafood places that are closer to the ocean, but if their food isnt going to be tasty they really shouldnt charge the same amount that I would pay eating fresh fish on a pier
