I purchased four live Maine lobsters from Fins Market on February 12th. When I got home and looked in the box I was only given three of the four lobsters even though I had seen all four being weighed and been charged for four. I immediately called the market and explained the problem. The manager on duty informed me that it was their busy dinner hour and asked if she could call me back. I gave her my number but I did not receive a return call that night nor the next day. I called the business again and was informed that owner was the only person that could do this refund and told that I would be called that night. I left my number again and again I revieved no call. I called again two days later and talked to the same woman and she said that the owner would call me the next day...again no call. I was informed that it would be ok for me to be angry the next time I called if I had not received my refund (I actually asked permission to be angry). I talked with the owner today and we had an argument on the phone. He is/was more concerned with his feelings about the situation than he was wit mine (the customer). I ended up having to call visa and get a charge back on my card. Was not a pleasant experience I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I can to avoid the restaurant.

I went to fins on fair oaks for a birthday lobster dinner. I was sorely disappointed. The calamari appetizer was cold and gritty. They served a large plate of "coleslaw", for a salad. The "Coleslaw" tasted like cabbage with vinegar. The bread was flattened as through someone had sat on it, and was served with rock hard, unspreadable butter. At this point in the meal, I still held out hope that the lobster might be good. Seafood is their specialty for Christs sake. When the lobster came out it smelled of nutmeg and Cinnamon. Holiday spices on a lobster? When i cracked the lobsters claw, the pathetic limp meat sadly dropped out of it. The texture was horribly rubbery. The flavor was very bland, and the meat spelled off. The server, could see the disgust on our faces and never once asked how the food was. I felt as though she had a lot of experience dealing with repulsed patrons. My guest and I left and drove directly to Carls Jr. to fill our empty and now sickened stomachs. How does this place stay in business? Avoid at all costs. I have never written a review for a restuarunt, but feel its my duty to warn people about this place.

For a friend and I, this is our go-to lunch place when we want healthy yet comforting food. What we like best: fish and chips -- no heavy batter with a tiny bit of fish, its a large serving of fish in a very fine Panko crumb--more like grilled than fried. The coleslaw is my favorite--could make a meal on it. Its made without mayo (giant plus for me) but instead with vinegar, sugar, and other things good. The fish sandwich is good, too. I recommend the extra price for whole wheat walnut sourgdough bread for it. Good fries. My friend adores their fish tacos. The two women waitstaff who have been there forever are just wonderful. The soft drinks are bottomless.

Man was this place bad! To start with the cold slaw was plain and bland, the prawns were fresh but small and way over priced. The fish was raw and again way over priced. Red lobster is 3 times the restaurant this place is. I will never set foot in this place again thats for sure.

Yummy! Easy to find off Fair Oaks Blvd and Howe Ave. Fresh fish restaurant ordered Sword fish sandwich with fries, cooked to perfection and generous portions. Staff are professional and friendly and very knowledgeable about their seafood. Highly recommend.

Nothing on the menu was worth the price. Everything is super basic and simple with minimal flavor. Used to live next door and really wanted to like this place. Came back more times than I should have out of convenience.

The reviews are pretty harsh on here. I found it to be decent, not great but decent. Had the grouper sandwich which was good, the sides were pretty plain overall though. The service was good to very good.

Fish was fresh and the staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Only complaint is that the cook needs to be introduced to salt. They might like each other and we will all benifit from their new friendship.

We went to Fin for a celebratory birthday lunch. The room is calm and serene. The server was friendly and helpful. We had crab cakes, oysters and tuna. It was a nice meal, not specacular.
