THIS IS A RESPONSE TO BUYER BEWARE by edd13_b (Ahead of time I USED TO WORK AT THIS RESTAURANT)You gave this restaurant one star because you didnt get a full discount and was charged an extra 50 cents for drinks. I dont believe that was a fair rating because all you talked about was how you got cheated and never the food. Was the food at least good? Was the food on time and the waiters polite? Maybe the owner didnt honor your discount, but that doesnt mean it deserves one star. Please rethink your review and re-write it. Thank you. On rating the restaurant: I loved working here and I loved the food here. I always enjoyed this place before I started working. I loved the staff that works here because they make me feel like a friend first before a customer. Come during the lunch specials every day and they give you soup, salad, fried or regular rice, the main course and an egg roll all for around 7-8 bucks!

Great food and a quiet atmosphere. This restaurant is a hidden gem near Safeway. They serve all the traditional foods that you would expect from a Chinese restaurant, but what sets them apart is quality. Some Chinese restaurants serve quick, cheap, greasy food, but not at Bambu. Prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. A couple of my personal recommendations are their Lemon Chicken, Wor Won Ton Soup and the Bambu Beef Short Ribs.

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes its good, sometimes its absolutely disgusting. For instance today... usually their sweet and sour chicken is crispy and delicious. However today, on a takeout order, I was given mushy disgusting chicken. It literally tasted like a farm - I had to throw it all away. It just tasted old and spoiled. I would suggest not getting takeout, because at least then you can complain and possibly get reimbursed!

They are friendly, but for a Chinese place not Vietnamese. The condiments and menus were all dirty, sticky. And no hoisin sauce for the Vietnamese dishes, and when you ask for some, they bring a small dish thats worthless. The grilled pork was stuck together, even they offered me chopsticks you couldnt use them. First time eating Vietnamese food with a fork. I wont come back.

This is the absolute BEST Chinese restaurant any where! The service is quick and friendly. The prices are great and the food is absolutely delicious every time. Spring rolls are awesome! Honey Walnut Chicken is to die for! Portion sizes are amazing. Go for lunch too! Awesome price and so much food. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!!

The food is excellent and the service is superb. Nice variety and generous portions. No wonder they are so busy! I live in the bay area but Bambu is a must stop for me and family when we are in the Sacramento area. If you love great authentic Asian cuisine at reasonable price and huge portions then Bambu is a must for you.

Our favorite Chinese place for the last 3 years. We always recommend it to friends and visitors. I recommend the Assorted Won Ton Soup, crab cream cheese rangoons, honey walnut shrimp and everything else! Nice people, locally owned, very clean, great parking all the time, near Safeway in case you want to shop afterward.

Ive eaten here with my family several times and loved everything Ive tried! The service is awesome, it feels like a very family/home-like environment. The place is beautiful and very conveniently located. The garlic noodles are super delicious, and the walnut prawns are the best ive had, so I would recommend trying them!

My family has been eating here for almosth 10 years now and we still like the place. Its clean, spacious and the food are delicious. And the price is just hard to beat. We seem to know the staff personally and they are not as bad as some others may have made comments. They are accommodating and friendly.

This place has consistently been in my top two Chinese restaurants in the area. I have never had a bad or sub-par experience here. The food is always fresh and cooked just right. Things to try: hot and sour soup (very flavorful), walnut prawn, crab cheese rangoon, general chicken.

We were pretty disgusted... food was not great, veggies were limp and old, and the Thai iced tea we ordered tasted like vinegar. We made up an excuse for for why we had to leave and beat a hasty retreat. I think maybe they were just having an off day, but we wont be returning.

Take out review: Food was okay, nothing too good. As you walk inside, please change out the 2 tables chairs. Paint scraped, seat pads ripped. The table setting closest to the front door should be the cleanest and newest, it is the face of the restaurant. My opinion.

The staff here are the most polite Ive ever seen! They cater to your every need, and not to mention, the food is amazing and the prices are so low. They have the lunch specials on weekends which is so convenient for us. Definitely coming back!

Food was good, large portion, ran out of a order we wanted. The waitress messed our order and brought over a plate we didnt want but wouldnt refund cause they make it already. The owner i think is super friendly and nice.
