Chinese food in Antioch is not good. Ive been to every place and none of it is worth going to twice unless youre just really desperate. Wongs is my familys favorite Chinese place in the area so Ive had it many times. Its ok. The food is decent, mainly the dishes that are hard to fail at such as walnut shrimp and other deep fried things. The chow mein is too watery for me but it tastes good. The must haves here: Wongs fried rice This should be a 3 and a half star rating but since you cant, they dont get the half star bonus. Also, the owner seems to absolute hate life. He sits there on his chair frowning the entire time... Its pretty awkward and sad. I wish I could some how brighten his day but I cant. I debated giving 4 stars just in case he read this and maybe itll put the slightest smirk on his face but I realized theres no way hell be on Yelp.... hes in some cave working on his frown game. Staff is extreeeeemmmmeeellllyyy rude!! Spend your money elsewhere. Food is mediocre and way over priced. I was sick and wanted some soup so I asked how big the small won ton soup is and the guy yelled at me that it didnt matter there were six won tons. Idgaf how many won tons. That wasnt what I asked. I asked how big the soup was. Had I not been sick, I probably woulda told him where he could put his soup, but I rolled my eyes and walked out. There was also a woman waiting tables and when she saw a family walk in behind us she threw her tablet at a cart that was near by and huffed n puffed like they were bothering him. How do you run a business like this? If u dont want the publics money, close shop. Im sure nobody would be too disappointed...at least not by the looks of the rest of the reviews. I too will no longer be spending any money with these assholes.

There are a couple of tables in the dining room but this place is mainly set up for take away orders. The staff are all verry friendly. The prices are great, actually this place sports dirt cheap eats. They allowed us to substitute an entree in the set family meal without additional charges. The food comes out quickly. BUT the food was too bland for out palate. There may be some people whos palate appreciate the flavor profile. We gave it 3 tries and then stopped going. Then after we had avoided the place for 8 months we went back hopeful that it got better and we gave them another chance but it was the same. We now avoid this place only due to the lack of flavor.

I have been eating wongs since I was 2 and I am now closing in on 21. Whenever I would get sick all I wanted was the Won Ton soup to make me feel better. Every birthday dinner was spent at Wongs or any other celebration dinner. I lived in Antioch until I was 13 and then I moved to Oregon. I REFUSE to eat at any of the places up here because they are NOTHING compared to Wongs. Everytime I visit Antioch all I eat is Wongs! My parents get to visit more often than I do and everytime they come back they bring me 2 orders of Pork Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein and Potstickers That is a 400 mile delivery!! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE WONGS!!

Food is excellent. However their decor is dated but its a typical chinese restaurant. Style isnt high on their priority list. The most important is the food. I love their wor wonton, calimari...everything. the only down side is their neighbor. Its a bar and they play their music real loud so it get annoying. I try to sit on the left side of the restaurant when I can.

Though they have great food, the owner and his employees are downright rude. I asked for sauce and he yelled at me. So I refuse to put my money into any place that will treat a customer like that. If you want quality service, dont buy their food. Id rather go to Panda Express then there any day.

I havnt even tried the food yet and the service is horrible the young girl in the front has a terrible attitude and has been rude to every customer while Im waiting 15 minutes to get my food. The food had better be good for this horrible service but I will never be going here again

My family has been going here for over 8 years! Excellent spot. Try the Hunan Chicken and Shrimp Chow Mein. Also, lunch specials are yummy and affordable. You wont be disappointed.
