You would think that a small corner restaurant would be clean, but no. This restaurant lowered my expectation for being clean, friendly, and getting the best bang for your buck. While we were eating inside the 4x8 place the floor was dirty and there was still food on the table. The chefs walked outside and were being obnoxiously loud, they started smoking right in front of the door of the restaurant and the fumes were coming in. After that experience the chefs walk inside and start cooking NOT even spending at least 10 seconds to wash their hands. After those experiences I would not like anyone to experience what I saw. Even the lady who was serving us was sooo lazy she barely even gave us Eye contact just to look up from her phone. This place does not even deserve 1 star.

I have ordered delivery from sun-ly Chinese food multiple times. When they asked for my phone number my address was already in their system From my previous. So after placing my order on 2-22-17 They called me back and said we do not delivered to your location its too far.. The guy that called me back said we never delivered there in the past. I told him you have delivered in the past I have your menu here and youve been here multiple times. Now Im going through another Chinese delivery downtown San Jose. So beware you may place your order and get a call back 15 minutes later saying they will not deliver..

Forget Panda Express. I paid over $10 last time at Panda to get my honey Walnut Shrimp craving fixed. It was a complete waste of money, it tasted awfully plain. The Walnut shrimp here is so good and authentic, I can eat a whole party tray by myself!! This place set a high standard for honey walnut shrimp in me. I came here when I crave for some legit fried rice. Omg so greasily good, just the way fried rice is supposed to be. And their price is so much cheaper than panda with bigger portion.

Generally gross. Sweet and sour chicken is drowned in way too sweet sauce and the chicken texture felt like bottom of the barrel scraps. Chicken lo mein had subtle notes of butt and the pork fried rice tasted like a dirty sock. It might be the water they use, giving everything a underlying city water yuck taste. Tried this place once. Not going back.

Been going here since the 80s. Always great food, cooks fast, and prompt service. There are very few Chinese food spot I eat at and Sun-Ly is one of them. Only con is that there are very limited seats for in-house dinning so I stay dedicated to take-out.

Been eating here for 30 years and, Dayum! Delicious Special fried rice,sweet & sour pork, and prawns are the greatest food in Sj today, woulda been nice have deliveries start up in the 80s!thank you and never go away please.

I also love the honey walnut shrimp. Small pick up and delivery service restaurant. A couple tables available for eating there. I am usually very satisfied with the quality of the food here. Give them a try!

The pricing on their menu is incorrect and they will not honor it all of their prices are up by at least $10 if youre ordering a big meal and if youre ordering individual by a few dollars

If you want to pass the commercialized chinese fast food places like Panda then go here. Family owned Chinese fast food place. Best wonton soup I have ever had! Great on portions.
