I been to so many Chinese restaurants and this one simply takes the gold medal. The service is really great as i do come here quite often. I tried a lot of dishes here and the best ones I have tried are Chili chicken, spicy beef, combination fried rice, walnut shrimp. The chili chicken is sort of like lightly fried chicken pieces with chili sauce. Best dish to get your spicy fix. Spicy beef is beef pieces with jalapenos, peppers but doesnt really come with sauce or anything. The combination is your usual fried rice with shrimp, beef and chicken cooked with soy sauce. Now for the life of me cant figure out how they make it so good as I had other combination fried rices in other restaurants and they didnt really compare to Dardas. Honey walnut shrimp is lightly fried with a honey type of sauce topped with pecans. Really good shrimp but a tad expensive as always with seafood but well worth the price. There are many dishes i would recommend that you should give it a go including pot stickers, three flavor soup, three flavor noodle soup, Mongolian beef, sesame bread, hunan spicy beef and the list goes on. Mostly everything you order will satisfy you so you dont have to worry about picking a bad entree. If you want to taste the food of authentic Chinese that doesnt disappoint, come here and the food is so good, youll start speaking in Chinese ( yes, I know thats not a real language )

I love the food here. I usually get the home made thick noodles, the live fish (comes with creamy fish soup & steamed fish marinated in soy sauce & green onion), and the green onion sesame bread. The food is really unique and wonderful and I have yet to find a place that makes similar dishes that I enjoy. And its reasonably priced! With the order I mentioned above, I can last two days on leftovers (for two) without having to pay an outrageous bill. The service is not as fabulous but is typical of most Asian restaurants. I recommend not waiting for the check but going up to the front to pay. They are pretty prompt in packing up your food to go so you shouldnt really have to wait too long if you dont mind going to pay the bill yourself. In the end, as I noted before, the food is why I come here. If you can get over the cultural difference in service, it really is worth it for a satisfied palette and tummy.

Came here in Milpitas after a meeting in San Jose on our way home around 6pm. There were already 5-6 tables taken out of around 20. It was rather cold treatment when I entered the restaurant while these two waitress and cashier continued to chat. After 2-3 minutes, I decided to ask if we could take the table by the window. Anyway, after we ordered the the 4 dishes, the waitress kindly suggested us to take the bigger table as it might not fit all of our orders. We followed her suggestion. The table was a bit wet with wiping smears left on it. I had to use napkins to clean it. Overall, including the bathroom, needed a better sanitizing situation. After this prelude, The rest was history. All 4 dishes were delicious - sesame pan cakes, fried onion lamb, spicy eggplants and mixed fried cut-noodles.

Food is really tasty, but the only problem is, they dont use halal meat. They just say its halal, but its not. One of my friend took Islamic teachings class at Ohlone and at that time a Professor taught that class. There was this huge debate going on if it is halal or not and professor said that, with full confirmation it is not! Why because he happened to know the owner or founder Ismaeel personally. He also mentioned further that the reason being is because my professor had owned a meat business and ismaeel was his good customer, however he only bought 7 boxes of halal meat whereas his weekly consumption was 50 boxes. Very soon this became highly doubtful where did he purchase his rest of the boxes. Also one of her cousins who happens had also confirmed that Darda is highly doubtful.

Lived in China for 5 years and this is by far the most authentic Chinese food I have had in the States. My Chinese wife agrees (as she is the one looking for "real" Chinese food). Service was fast, food came out fast, was not over/under cooked. The lamb soup was the exact same I had in China. Ate in Chinatown at their highly rated Sichuan restaurant and it doesnt compare and was not authentic enough even though the place was packed with Chinese. We both agree on that. And we both agree on this: Darda was very authentic. I came here many years ago when i knew nothing of real Chinese food or "Americanized" Chinese food. I just remember it was good then too.

This is the first time I tried Darda Seafood having heard about it some ten years ago. The food is O.K. but I was very impressed with our server Teressa. She was friendly and helpful, she suggested fish two ways- steamed fish fillet and bone for soup, although the steamed fish was bit salty but the soup was fantastic-full with flavor. I will come back just because I can count on the good service from Teressa, she makes her costumers feel at home. While I was thanking her before leaving, another costumer also approached her to thank her for her warm and welcoming service!

The food was not bad and they offered a very extensive selection of food choices. The vegetable dumplings were not good at all and I would highly recommend avoiding them. The roasted duck was flavorful but there was little meat and you had to work hard to find it plus several pieces were a little over cooked. The beef and chicken dishes we ordered tasted pretty good and the food came out relatively quickly and everything was hot. It is a Halal restaurant and Ive never seen this before so if thats something you look for then you might consider this place.

Halal Meat is served here. The service is so-so. They are usually quick with bringing the food and the prices are cheap. I usually get the Hot & Sour soup, Sweet & Sour Chicken (the S&S Fish is pretty good too), the garlic chops, the sesame bread (thick one), onion cakes - both are good to eat with your soup. The shrimp & walnuts are good. Chili Beef and Combination Chow Mein are good as well. For phone orders make sure you have them repeat the order because sometimes they screw it up!

Yeh u have to hustle to get a table and there is a severe lack of privacy, and with waitresses wear the face of a pissed-off mother-in-law, but the food is gooooooooooooood. This is not hybrid fusion crap. This is the real deal where u get a blend of ughyur type influenced food - really that north west under represented province of China that is a true crossroads of multi racial multi cultural craziness. So many surprises on the menu, just try as much as u can, its a rarity my friends.

I am regular customer here just because of Halal Food but I still have doubt if they provide Halal food. Secondly the food quantity and quality is getting low day by day and price is getting increased, The customer service is horrible in the peak hours. Also make sure your bill does not have any hidden charges. Every-time they add some extra on top of your bill without letting you know plus they force you to mention the tip while signing the merchant copy.
