If you want to spend forty minutes in the drive threw or inside the restaurant there go on down to Popeyes on Zinfandel drive in Rancho Cordova. Every time I attempt to eat at Popeyes even though I know I shouldnt there is a wait like no other. Ive never waited this long in fast food before ever. Then there are the lovely employees. If you want to be talked to rudely, get the wrong order, best cussing and ghetto talk this is the place to be. Its crazy how a place of business can employee that do not know how to speak to other people. When they agree yearling to each other all you hear is about who is getting the swisher and who has the weed. They need to do some drug testing and me hires. Now lets talk about the fantastic managers. They just sit around on their phones, dont help the employees even it is crazy busy and if the order is wrong or you are tired of waiting please dont ask the managers to assist you. It is if you agree am unconvince and a burden to them. Everyone has to make a living and just because you work in fast food does not mean you need to act like the people you are helping are just a bother. Now for the lobby, if you want to smell ass and BO definitely go eat inside. The homeless crew that just sits there every day all day has a must smell you need to smell! They have their belongings every where and the smell is notorious. Now for the food the tenders age great but hey then fresh because they will serve you tenders from 11am at five pm. Nice hard and dry tenders. The regular chicken on the bone is always raw and not cooked all the way fried always soggy and cold. Always look at the bottom of your side dishes they write the time on the bottom and they will give it to you way after the allowed time. And God forbid you go after930 pm they have no food of the system or fryers are always down. Happy eating at Louisianas "best" mmm mmm good I think not.

The food is fantastic just like any Popeyes but the employees are useless here. They always forget simple things like butter or honey, so I asked specifically for a butter and a honey for my biscuit. They gave me 7 honeys and 4 butters for my 1 biscuit, and manage to forget the sauce for my shrimp and my chicken. When I called in the manager was very rude and seems more worried about who you should be in trouble for it than fixing my order. She hung up on me and when I called back to ask if she was going to fix my order she said " there was nothing wrong with your order. You have to ask for sauces( which is untrue, the employees are supposed to ask you at the window, and the sauce comes with the shrimp). After I told her I was already too far away to come back today,She said with an attitude that I can come back and get all the sauce I want, or she could put me in the system for some sauce. What a total b****, she has no idea what customer service means, and I will not be returning to this location because of her

I ate there last night and i was throwing up all night and it gave me diarrhea . Im never going there again. They dont make their food like all the other pop eyes i been to my Chicken strips were soaked in oil and the breading want on all my chicken. U could see the batter still so i ate what i could and i had to miss work because of this food. I was looking forward to a ne pop eyes in my nieghborhood because i drive really far to south Sacramento when i want pop eyes but i will NEVER GO TO THE RANCHO CORDOVA POP EYES CHICKEN EVER AGAIN! They have a bunch of high school kids working there who dont know what theyre doing they see that theres a long line so they dont cook their food all the way and they just throw it in the bag and give it without even thinking that they could get sued or people are getting sick from this!

I know its a new Popeyes they was packed I paid 21 dollars for a 10 piece meal I asked for all drum sticks I got 4 big breasts and 3 wigs and3 drum sticks and I got 2 sides Cajun rice and fries the rice was very dry the fries was OK but my chicken didnt taste like Popeyes and I love other Popeyes like the one on el Camino is great but this Zinfandel is gross I had a bird feather on my chicken never eating there again!!

Always great food but I have never waited soooo ling for food that is already made and sitting there. Omg take my money, turn around and put the stuff in a box and give it to me. Not that hard. This is a separate visit than when I posted that. Lowered to 1 star. Get it together. Its really not hard. The dining room looks good but take a look behind the counter where your food is. Its a mess

Twice Ive gotten home with my Chicken Tenders that ended up being FRIED BONE-IN CHICKEN> > > "TENDERS", yall. I ordered TENDERS> SO dont give me that nasty attitude because when I SAY CHICKEN STRIPS you never got my order wrong. Try and change my vocabulary when yall dont even know what customers mean when they order CHICKEN TENDERS> bunch of stuck of sad teenie boppers cant even deal

Love Popeyes... Just not this location. Which sux considering how close I live to them. The fries are always soggy, Jesus I cant get over how they havent figured that out yet. Ive been given raw doughy chicken once which was super disappointing. Workers are nice, pretty quick, and its clean inside. I still stop by once a month, but this is still the worst location Ive ever been to.

Love Popeyes. This particular location has never gotten my order right or are out of what i want to order. The first time i went was opeing day and i order spicy chicken strips. My order came i went home and found all my food was covered in shrimp. Im highly allergic to shell fish. The staff Re nice just need better training in food handling.

I love Popeyes but at this specific location you have to make sure your order is right and my main thing that I cannot stand at this place is the customer service whenever you ask for condiments or have a question about something the employees give off attitude I know its not just me because Ive seen it constantly with other customers there

My husband brought it home so I cant rate the atmosphere or the service. I am only rating the food. Im a Popeyes virgin. It was really good I enjoyed the spicy chicken though it was a tad dry. The mac&cheese was super yummy along with the Cajon rice. Didnt care much for the mashed potatoes. I would like to dine in next time.

Being from Louisiana, home of Popeyes it is nice to see them here in California with clean and much better service than used to when lived in Louisiana. Alongside signature chicken have great side like the dirty rice of Louisiana fame. Unlike the name, is really good. Haha. Friendly efficient staff. Will use again.
