We met friends at Margaritas last night for dinner where they dine quite often. My Husband and I had two entertainment coupons which we thought we would use for the four of us. We ordered 3 margaritas, one being a double to start. We then ordered our meals. We were blasted by the server and I was told I had to order a drink to use the coupon. I was not drinking but knew more drinks would be ordered to meet the 4 drinks in order to use both coupons. After ordering another drink the manager came over and shouted at me telling me I HAD to order a drink, he was extremely rude and thats putting it lightly! We explained we had ordered another drink but it wasnt for me and he huffed away. We spent $72.00 there last night but I can assure you we will never be back! The food was barely okay but the treatment we received was shocking!

Like some GOOD Mexican food & a tasty Margarita? Then head to MARGARITAS on Rosemead. You wont b disappointed. Been going there for over 30 yrs when it was just a little hole n d wall. Service n people r great, n d prices more than fare. Basic food is" Rico", with large portions. Spanish Rice n Beans, like my mom, the great Mexican cook, Dona Luz, use to make. Tacos r large n delicious, Nachos Supreme, too large for a big eater, meat dishes bursting with flavor, n old stand- bys Enchiladas/Chile Rellenos never disapoint. Oh try d shrimp dishes or anything new u havent tried, ull be glad u did. AND OMG d Sunday AND daily (M-F) Buffets are to die for. We go at least twice a week. Trust me, U WILL LOV IT... n become a regular like we r.

My first time here on quite some time. It wasnt too crowded but decided to sit in the bar area assuming it would be faster service. Got to chatting with a friend then suddenly realized wed been there 15 minutes and still no one approached us. Finally, a waiter brought us water, chips, salsa and menus. It was 10 minutes before waitress took out order (OK, may be she was giving us time to decide what we wanted)... So much for faster service... haha. To her credit, and after she brought us our orders, she came back and checked on us twice. Food was OK... Although Del Taco would have been 74,3% cheaper (and much faster - and that is why its called "fast food").... [Carry on... Move along... There is nothing more to see].

Went for lunch, restaurant was 75% empty, still the waitress seemed to always be busy and disappear. Had to ask for our own menus after walking in and the host just pointed to a table on the side. The waitress was super rushed and almost missed half our order because she kept trying to run away. Food came out quick but was mediocre tasting, appetizer sampler was messy, enchilada average tasting. Decor is nice. Service was bad. She seemed annoyed by us for some unknown reason but very friendly with the table next to us. She kept rushing back to talk to the other servers. Will not be back.

The employees have bad customer service. They didnt smile they dont say hi. Just "what do you want "type of bad attitude. Dont tip them. We were seated eating ceviche & guacamole and drinking a margarita, then the employees and management asked us to to move to another table in the back! I did not get to finish my margarita nor ceviche and guacamole food they had me pay $32 for nothing . I advise everyone to go to El Torito where they have friendly customer service and dont ask you to Stop eating and drinking to move to another table.

Was a bit disappointed by this place.The pros: really cute space, love the roof decoration and the fact that its not blasting AC like every other place in CA .The negs: Had two drinks: adios felisha and Margaritas Restaurant, both of them very very average. For lunch had carne asada tacos. They were pretty good but nothing special and came with no sides. The atmosphere is trying to be very trendy but music is just way too loud. Perhaps it would be a great nightlife bar, but in many ways seems like its trying too hard.

The worst!! I got there, and they let us seat ourself. But then my family and I waited for 20! No menus, no water, no server around. The people behind us who came after us were already receiving their food! And still the server didnt even acknowledge us!. I asked the busboy for a menu and he was very nice to us. Brought us chips and salsa. We waited another 10 mins! And still no one! We just walked out! And even then, no one acknowledged us. They seemed to be more about attending to white people than us.

Have been coming here for about two years now, found it through Google Search - Food here is pretty Good and so is the service. Waiters / Waitresses are on there A Game and are always hustling as a team. Its hard to find a Hard Shell Taco with Ground Beef, This one is good. We have tried many of their plates. Favorites include Carinitas, Asada Plate, Molcajete, and Chile Verde. Home made corn tortillas are good. Their Sunday Brunch is good as well, Menudo has México All over it! Artiba!

The atmosphere is fun and the outside is quite festive. However, for us the food is what a restaurant is really about. Margaritas food is barely spiced, somewhat overcooked, and wholly forgettable. Its not awful, not flavorless or watery. But neither is any part of it worthy of a smile after a bite. Just a nod of "mildly acceptable." If I made it myself, Id forgive it. For a restaurant, I expect delicious. This is simply not delicious. A pity. I wanted to like them.

Went there for a private party. Was supposed to be a 3 hr buffet. They Cleared Food After 2 hrs. Drinks were not served constantly. Food was bland. Not mexican at all. Fajitas meet no flavor. Carnitas was alright. Chile rellenos werent great. Enchiladas were not tasteful. Its unfortunate we brought my father and mother here for his birthday. My mom being a great cook we were dissatisfied.

This place is awesome! The happy hour prices are phenomenal with a generous selection of cocktails, beer, and food items. Speaking of cocktails, they have a heavy pour here, which my wife and I definitely enjoyed. The regular prices are very reasonable as well. The service was impeccable and the food was really tasty! Highly recommend this place, it is a lot of fun!

Have give to this place ever since I was a kid and it still holds up. Flautas were good. Fajitas were even better and had a ton of yummy vegetables deliciously charred. Dont forget the margaritas either! They do proper Justice to their name as both the Cadillac and house were very good and not overly sweet. In short, I definitely recommend it!

The food is great! I prefer the buffet, but fyi, only m-f. The fajitas come on a hot plate & I love the seafood fajitas, can order for two. The food is served generously. Reasonably priced.The drinks are good to. Clean,friendly, atmosphere. Also has a bar. Been coming for years,always same great food & service. Definitely recommend.

I just visited Margaritas for the first time for a work holiday party. Excellent food and margaritas.... I am looking forward to going back to try more than just appetizers. I received excellent service and highly recommend ordering the salsa verde. Everything tastes homemade! What a find.... and I live 28 miles from there.
