This place was terrible. The food was old it looked like someone took the life out of it. When ask to bring out fresh fish. I was told what do you expect from a buffet. The fish was dry and was already looking black. The green beans were hard and not even cleaned. They still had the strings on the ends. The price says $11.99 per person. I was charged $12.99 per person. After spending $46.98 I was very disappointed. I had to go eat at the local taco bell so that I can be satisfied. I would stay away from this location. I am a repeated customer who goes to Zen Buffet in Pico Rivera on Wahington Blvd. I go for the steam prawns, the endless sushis, the flamed broiled mussels, the fried gralic fish, steamed oyster served on its own shell, chinese buns, japanese tempuras, teriyaki beef, and so much more. At less than $14 a pop, I can feel what the Wall Street people are getting at a $100 a plate. The buffet restaurant is in the same plaza as Gamestop, Walmart, Staples, Lowes, and more. All you can eat and all you can buy, all at a bargain. I could not ask for more on a tight budget.

This place may have a large selection, but for a weeknight dinner time buffet, this was just awful. The food was bland and of low quality. The seafood appeared and tasted like it had been left out a bit too long. The california rolls with shrimp had the frickin tails left on and stuck in the rice. The rice was stuck together, the fired shrimp was over cooked, the chicken was full of poor cuts, the beef was all fatty and grissle. Anybody that says this food is good either is paid to write a review or has never had a god chinese buffet.

The food is mediocre but the staff was horrible. Was allowed 15 minutes to eat then told the food would change but that we could still get food. I got the bill and didnt think much of it. Then I was yelled at that the food I got was only for the dinner rush and that I got wasnt allowed to get another plate. Very rude expensive for okay food.

Its the worst place ever been too, the Food was terrible and Its very expensive for what your getting. They are rude, I had a 15% coupon i got from there web site they did not honor it because they said its was for another store and I have to print It out myself. but was no barcode. Never go to this place you will regret it!

Food seem to be ok besides the fact that flies were landing on the Food! FLIES! they charged me for my 2 year old son to eat Nd to top it off there ice cream machine makes some loud noise that startled everyone. And they dont have the A.C. on! And did I mention Flies! Never again dont recommend it dont come in here!

This place is FANTASTIC!!!!! I would totally go here again. But theyre just missing the angel hair pasta. :( Their service is kinda...weird...cuz I remember almost my whole family had ordered raspberry ice tea and the freaking waiter came back with root beer. We were all like o_o.

All the staff was eating at once for lunch and did not bother to refill food at buffet. Left to choose any item to fill stomach. By the time staff finished lost appetite ate because I was upset. Who has all the staff eat all at once and ignores customers. They must not own the box

This is one of my worst Asian food buffet establishment I have ever ate at.... The food at Zen buffet was horrible... Seems like the food have been sitting for quite some time. I ended up having diarrhea once I got home... Never ever go to this place again.... Waste of money....

First, the negative: noodles were dry and hard in some parts, crab legs were dry and flavorless, vanilla ice cream was too sweet, chocolate ice cream was liquid, mochi balls were hard. Now for the positive: jello, almond cookies, and apple pie were good. Not coming here again.

This place was horrible!! Took mom out for some crab legs at this location but was very disappointed. The food was old stale and cold. They lacked good customer service because they were so stingy. It was only two asians who were waiting for you to leave as soon as possible.

Just came out of here and got to say Im disappointed:( Ive been wanting to come here for a while. Point is: Everything looked good, sat down... & Noodles were kind of hard in some part & Cold ,Fried veggies .. COLD Garlic bread .. extremely hard! Couldnt even bite it. -.-

The food is great, especially the sushi bar. AS with all you can eat restaurants, some dishes will dry faster than others over boiling water. The best time to come in, when they open or when they switch to dinner, off course you will pay dinner prices.

Too pricy 38 for two. And 3 bucks for my 22 month was charge. But I kindly informed them of my kid age. Meat was hard and food was cold in general. Wifes says she like it that it was ok but pricey. She also gives it a two star.

First the staff is very welcoming and on top of things. My bill was reasonable. Theres some food recipes from over seas I loved. Sushi was dry and falling apart prime rib was not edible and shell fish is 5 star.

Its horrable the service is bad. They take long getting your plates from the table, take for ever getting refills and they just walk around. I thought the one in san gabriel would be diffrent , but its the same.

Dont waste your time or money here. Some of the food is almost decent at best but most of what they offer is terrible. The only thing good about this place is the service.
