Although the food looked good once it arrived to the table the flavor was not. I had to send the bag of shrimp back and ask that they add more seasoning. I had originally ordered the cajun spicy but after taking my first bite the flavor was more of a watery cayenne pepper flavor. After the bag was brought back it was obvious by the intense red color all the cook had done was add more chili pepper and some salt. The salt did help but compared to other cajun places Ive been to this place is at the bottom of the list. Also when ordering by the pound you have to take into consideration that the weight is taken after all the ingredients are added in other word not just the shrimp but the potato, corn, and sausage as well or whatever you decide to include in your mix. For example, in my bag I had shrimp, one corn (a $1and some change extra), and sausage (the menu states 1/2LB for $5 extra) after receiving my bag I counted 9 whole shrimp, 8 inedible shrimp heads, 1 corn, and 4.5 pieces of sausage. In my book not really worth the $13 plus since Ive gotten way more per bag at other places like The Bucket Crab in Ontario with much more flavor, but thats for you to decide. As for the fries they are just fried potato sticks nothing special. The kids menu isnt listed but we were told its popcorn shrimp with fries so we ordered one and the popcorn shrimp were frozen bits of battered shrimp most of which didnt have any shrimp inside. This was very disappointing since we were at a seafood restaurant and didnt expect them to serve frozen fried pieces of batter especially with so much competition around that serve freshly battered and fried shrimp. Also, we went there just after 6pm when the dinner crowd starts to come in and there were only two girls covering the floor. When my party sat down to eat the place was empty which in hind sight should have been a sign since the business is located in a very high traffic area and as time passed and more people started coming there were still only two girls running the floor so service was slow. By the time my party finished and we were set to leave it was almost 8pm and the place was still pretty empty with only 3 other tables being served. The restaurant is pretty big compared to similar ones Ive been to so Im probably not the first one to have a tasteless meal there. Anyways, give it a try or dont you can find better.

Spent $125 taking 2 of our kids n mother n law out.. The Mexican supervisor lady or what ever she is had her nerve to ask us if we would move to a smaller table because a bigger parties waiting for our table. Excuse me?really? #1-how rude!!! We were about to leave! She tried compensating for it by offering dessert which made us wait longer which Didnt make sense lol #2 no air conditioning in this heat is ridiculous, I was surprised.. It was muggy in there.. #3 the Sangrias tasted alcohol free.. We will never go there again. It was definitely not the greatest. The zucchini was good & honey walnut shrimp but the bagged clams etc.? Weird.. They should put them in a basket at least, its tacky the way there served lol smh I was not impressed what so ever and saddened and embarrassed my mother in law was so apolled she talked about how rude the lady was the entire rest of the evening... Gasp I mean why did the dumb lil tattooed chick in front seat us there then considering there were smaller tables? No clue. Its her fault.. Wack place..

Came here on a Monday night, so this review is based on that time frame. We ordered the 1.5 pounds of boiled shrimp in Cajun sauce, peeled. It cost a little more to have peeled shrimp, but that was understandable. When the shrimp came, we didnt realize that it was the pre peeled, previously frozen type. It wasnt fresh, and had that was noticeable in the taste of the shrimp. I would definitely recommend not getting it pre peeled, and just put the extra effort and peel your own shrimp. The flavors really were not bad, but for the price, the shrimp skulls have been fresh. We also ordered the house Cajun pasta, which had shrimp, sausage and calamari.. Again, it was just ok. Nothing really made me think of it being a great dish, and for the price, it was pretty basic. The best thing was probably the fried calamari appetizer. It wasnt chewy, and it had the perfect crunch. Overall not a fan of the place, but it also wasnt terrible. It was just ok.

My first time there!! ..Im a little disappointed they dont have an "All In One" for ONE PERSON.. hey, but that would be 3 pounds of Shrimp, Mussels, Clams, Crawfish, Snow crab legs, and Lobster(serves 2-4).... .so I Only got crab legs, mussels, grilled zucchini, and grilled corn with a To Go order everybody says is good ...Cajun Dirty Fried Rice ...(Ill let u know after I have room to eat it) The very nice second waitress was a "Darlin" !!...but because the first waitress was on her way out (because of shift change) she helped with the grilled entries and the To Go order..(sorry--Im terrible with names) she also was sweet too!! Food was Fast and Great!!! As the terminator says---- Ill be back!!

The place was mostly empty on Tuesday afternoon which sometimes means the service suffers as staff slack off. This was NOT the case at Big Catch. Great service lots of drink refills and Aubrey handled our request to sample the crawfish seasoning before we ordered without any fuss. The smelt appetizer was crispy and light, the clams were good, the crawfish while not fresh (frozen) were fine. They had a 1/2 price special on their new Chinese menu items and the Kung Pao Chicken was great. The dining area is open with a view of the kitchen, the music was easy to listen to (good volume and selection). Full bar, seating for large groups.

The sauce was good but that was all. We ordered shrimp and crawfish. The crawfish was frozen and tasted like mud. The shrimp was mushy and we couldnt even peel it without mushing it beyond recognition. We have eaten many of these types of places and this was the worst, so dissapointed. The person who answered the phone didnt understand how much sausage we get and told us two pieces so we didnt order it. You actually get 1/2 lbs, which we would have ordered so I didnt get favorite part of the meal.

Went in on a Friday afternoon for a late lunch. Server was great, he helped us out, and answered a lot of questions for us. The boiled Cajun crayfish were pretty tasty, and fun to eat. Just be prepared for a big mess! (bibs and wet wipes are provided) The shrimp we ordered next were lukewarm, and pretty plain though. Overall it was good, but on the pricey side for what you get in my opinion.

At first, I was excited to hear that this restaurant serves gumbo and soft shell crab sandwiches. But tasting the food was a different subject! The gumbo had a gel-like substance as its roux. The soft shell crab was very tiny and tasteless. The potatoes and corn did not have the creole flavoring you would normally expect in a crab boil. All in all, my family and I were very dissatisfied.
