After now multiple visits with others I can say for sure the food here is completely overrated. Chewy and mealy trout, fatty tuna and the mahi mahi is so tough one wonders if it is old chicken. Check out the image of the DRIED out fish. In additional, dull flavors for Cajun sauce. Service is fast and they do serve better than average beer. Update: I give the corporation credit for trying to make things better for me, but the reality remains - the fish is simply not that good. Based upon five (5) data points, I found the fish to be dry, relatively tasteless and either chewy or mealy. This is not a one-time-the-server-was-crabby type situation, this is a systematic problem. Obviously, my displeasure with the food is why the ratings systems averages responses. Not everyone has to enjoy the experience and clearly most people do enjoy the experience. I cant recommend this place for fish, but I can say, if you like beer, there are a handful of good options.

This place wasnt bad. Not the type of place we usually go to. Food was good. I had the Ono with lemon sauce. It was a good size piece of fish. A little over cooked, but good. I had the side of grilled zucchini. It was only one lengthwise slice. I would have preferred more of that rather than the large portion of rice. I give kudos to the manager. Someone walked into the establishment holding a puppy and the manager did make him go out to the patio and not allow him on the restaraunt. You just dont see that now days and I appreciated that. I think we have one of these up where I live and I would go back to try again.

Had salmon and swai plate which came on a nice bed of rice and with a side--we got full. The sauces were good and the fish tasted really good even without the sauce. Tried fried shrimp, tasty and big plate with fries. Also had fire roasted corn, yum. Had sweet potato fries with a Chipotle sauce ; they were perfect. Had fried zucchini which was also perfectly made. The beans werent great but everything else was. The green tea lemonade was also refreshing and the packaged brownies were chocolatey. Reasonably priced, fresh. Recommend.

Use to be one of my favorite spots since they opened their first locations in Orange County. Their corn tortillas are too hard and always cold and they are putting to much batter in their fish tacos. Last time I was there I got a fish taco and received like a quarter pound of batter and only a sliver of fish. Overall their food and costumer service is great I will still continue to eat there. P.s please improve those fish tacos!

Yummy Out of 3 fish plates ordered 3 different ways, I would order them all again! The only thing we were not pleased with was the grilled zucchini, it was grilled but not cooked, they were still hard so I will not order the zucchini again. The bread is very small, not toasted, not buttered, just a small thin slice of bread & their drink options are a little weird. Their fish though was very very good.

First time here my chubby buddy recommended it. I got the grilled Cajun Catfish pure fire. Since it was my first time only gave them for stores I dont know if theyre perfect. Had the brussel sprouts with the zucchini someone told me to get the fire dressing or boom clot or Bang Bang dressing I dont know what its called but that made the brussel sprouts taste better

Wow, the food was wonderful here! I got the sea bass and my boyfriend got the swordfish. The kaleslaw was fantastic, brussel sprouts were tasty and the fish was just mouth watering. Everything tasted wonderfull, wonderfully, definitely will be returning!

The inside is really noisy. The staff is nice and the food delicious. The soda machine was not working right. We ate outside but the mudic was still too loud. The clsm chowder should have clsms in it, too. I think there were sbout 5 tiny pieces.

This is one of our favorite places to eat! My favorite is the salmon taco plate. Its plenty of food for $8. Their veggies are very fresh and the fish is never dried out. Be careful when you come, it tends to get very busy.

Awesome place to grab some cheap, good quality seafood (mostly fish). Space is a bit tight but service is good for type of restaurant it aims to be. Would not hesitate to go here again. Big portions for reasonable prices.

Cool little place to grab some fresh fish, in a variety of styles and plating. Its a pretty nice place, but still order at the counter and come get your food when your number is called. Tacos are excellent here!

The best fishn chips around. However, small store for indoor sitting, very crowded and its tough finding a place to sit inside. The store needs more indoor sitting, in most cases if its too crowded we leave.

New location. The food is awesome. Had the seared ahi tuna and the poke salad. Fresh, fresh, fresh! Ate at the one in Fullerton and it was uneven. But this place rocks and the manager is super friendly.

Aloha! The California Fish grill is delicious. We had Salmon plates and Calamari were great. On another day order their Ahi Tuna Poke to go. Surprisingly it was delicious. Its pricy but worth it.

The fish is fresh and cooked in a way that is really delicious. The prices are very reasonable, about $10 or less. Good selection of sauces and drinks as well!
